I placed a mobile order through the app and checked in upon arrival. After 10 minutes of waiting in the mobile order spot I decided to go in to get the order. I went into the store and stood in the "pickup mobile order" spot at the counter. I didn't interrupt the cashier as she was taking an order. So, I waited for about 2 minutes and then flagged the attention at one of the employees in the drive through/beverage part that was about 4 feet from me. I advised that I was there to pick up my mobile order and that I had been waiting about 10 minutes (I was still calm at this point as I didn't have anything to really be upset about). She rudely said, "we don't have anyone to take orders out". My response to her was that they offer the service in the app and that it wasn't my fault as the customer. She then said that it was McDonald's app, not theirs. My response was, "You know you are part of McDonald's, right?" She ignored me and told the front counter cashier that I was the mobile order who then picked up a prepacked bag that had been sitting on the counter and handed it to me. I advised that I still had a chocolate milk that I needed. They ignored me. I told them again and then the front cashier finally got the chocolate milk and handed it to me. I asked for the drive through employees name, she ignored me. I asked the cashier for the drive through employees name. Her response was that she couldn't give that out. I asked if the manager was there. Her response was that they were both managers. I was floored to hear that given their attitudes and extremely poor job at handling the situation and overall making the situation much worse than it needed to be. I asked for the store managers name, her response was again that they were not going to give that information. She advised me to call the number on my receipt. I checked my bag and found that I was not given a receipt. She advised that it was because I had a mobile order and offered me two random other customer's receipts. My only option for identifying them was to take a photo. I did let them know I was taking a photo as a way to identify them. I was understandably very upset at that point and walked out. On the way out, I ran into another employee. I asked if she could tell me the names of the 2 managers at the front. She said that she was just getting in but would do her best to assist me. She walked with me back in and told them I was upset with my mobile order and wanted to speak the store manager. The manager at the register told that employee that it wasn't her concern and that she needed to clock in and get to work. I am baffled and upset about the way they handled the situation. I myself am in customer service and would NEVER speak to a...
Read moreokay, let me start off by saying this mcdonalds is in a nice city. novi is beautiful, lots of good resteraunts properly managed and well maintained. this place does not fit in this catagory. this mcdonalds is a catastrophe. i recently came in with the last of my money after paying my bills, and i just wanted to treat myself to a sausage egg mcmuffin meal, thinking itd be classic nostalgic not amazing but its food and it isnt terrible. i was wrong, the mcmuffin was completely charred, the sausage patty was somehow cold, and the hashbrown was.. wet? i don’t understand how you moisten a hashbrown. i got a medium caramel brew, it was half empty, with no caramel in it, and too keep it appropriate it tasted like human excrement. i asked for a cup of water, which for the last 20 years of my going to mcdonalds existence was free, also according to literally everyone online is still free, is apparently not free anymore. now i dont know if the older white lady was a manager or not, but i do know for a fact that she was 100% racist. she gave people their order without questioning if it was theirs. she asked me for my order number, then proceeded to question my full name, and every item in the order. and before i was handed my food, she asked me those questions again. why, why do you have to question me two times, itd be understandable once maybe i guess. but twice? after i already answered? and showed you my order on my phone? come on. its mcdonalds, i dont expect it to be amazing. but you have quite possible the easiest job in the world, you basically do nothing for your money, how hard is it to work and do things right. In conclusion this mcdonalds is poorly managed, and its easily the worst mcdonads ive ever been in. ive been in mcdonalds in the worst parts of detroit with more proper service then this mcdonalds. corporate needs to listen to all the reviews on this locatjon, and hire...
Read morePlaced mobile order approx 12:47pm (email confirmation @ 12:49pm). Choose drive thru for pick up option. The guy on the drive thru speaker told me I had to come in to get my order. I went inside, changed the order for in store pickup and waited along with 6 people ahead of me. The 6 people got their orders, ate, on store and left. Multiple drive thru orders and GROUPS of people who ordered, after me, came and went and some of them also ate and left. So at 1:20ish pm, I approached the counter employees (who saw me waiting and kept looking my way while I waited in the "wait for your food area") and asked them about my mobile order. Someone had bagged the order, sat it on the counter where all of the employees filling counter orders could see it, BUT they kept ignoring the bagged order sitting in front of them. They never asked me why I was still there or what I was waiting for (and they even took other mobile orders outdoors!) So... after listening to my inquiry of "is this my order", one of their employees confirmed it was my order, and had the food made fresh for me (yet another 10 minutes) and finally I received my order. They offered NOTHING for my wasted time and inconvenience and I never even complained to them about waiting... even kept a smile on my face during the waiting period!! Soooo, I will do my very best to avoid spending any money away this...
