L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Oʻahu

If you go to this place, speak loudly and clearly and get and check your receipt. I asked for a regular size short rib plate. Paid $23.78 which included a 15% tip. I got a "regular SIDE of short ribs". Doesn't a "side" of anything generally cost LESS than the plate itself?

I didn't ask for the receipt and now regret it. I don't want to deal with this place ever again. Don't bother...

The food is always hot and tasty, and they always give you a ton of food. It makes up for it being a little pricier than other places as this is easily two meals! My only wish is that they would update the place and clean up a bit. With Covid going on they’ve left boxes stacked to the ceiling and the signs are outdated and taped to the walls.
