We were referred to this cute “local” place by Holly at North Shore Soap Factory (another great place to visit). We were told that Waialua Bakery has great sandwiches (all fresh ingredients) and is owned by a local family. The menu provided us with an abundance of choices for sandwiches, but the Açaí bowl caught our attention. We also ordered the “hunk” of bread. The Açaí bowl was delicious and included granola and fresh banana. The hunk of bread had two toppings - cinnamon and honey (delicious) and extremely generous portions. Edit: dropping rating because every time we've been here, they are letting people in that aren't wearing masks. And they say nothing, even though masks are REQUIRED BY LAW. Employees not wearing masks over noses, or at all, every time. No longer going to support this business. Which is a shame because it's otherwise a great local business with great sandwiches.
