This is usually a great Burger King. However today, I am baffled at the entire experience. It's not me being petty, it's the location's employees not caring. Or pointedly, MARY is a total piece of work.
ME: May I have a croissant, no egg, sausage & cheese only.
MARY: Okay so no cheese, just sausage, or cheese too?
ME: It comes with cheese, I am asking without egg. (??)
Screen reads Croissant Sausage & Cheese
Get home, it's Egg & Cheese Only. Okay? People make mistakes, so I call to resolve. I explain myself and Mary tells me to come back - which is unsatisfactory...
ME: Refund the entire order. I shouldn't have had to repeat myself on the order to begin with, I had to wait five minutes for a simple order, and I am not driving back to resolve.
*mind you, I wanted a taco too, but Mary said I would have to wait, so I opted for breakfast items for speed... interesting.
MARY: We cannot refund your order without the card. We will leave a free order for you under your name, no need to call.
So I give my name and order number. Mary hangs up!
So I call back, no answer after 10 rings.
So I call back again, some new lady picks up - doesn't give her name.
ME: What sort of place are you operating? I want the Store Manager's phone number or the Franchisee's number. Why would I be hung up on for your team's mistake?
BK: I'm sorry for that. I cannot give you their number. But if you look on your receipt...
ME: I don't have a receipt! I wasn't given a receipt.
BK: We refunded your order.
ME: Thought you couldn't do that? So first I have to tell you how to make a sandwich, then I am told you cannot refund and no one to call, then I am hung up on, then I am told TO call, then I am told I'm refunded???
Kicker is I called Guest Relations and Jason had zero enthusiasm and sounded literally like a high/intoxicated sloth! Such BS.
Mary, don't know what the world holds for you but just because you have a peppy, high pitched voice, CLEARLY does not mean you should be in customer service. It's legit not rocket science to treat people fairly. It wasn't me who made the mistake and it certainly isn't my job to do it right. I'm the PAYING customer.
I couldn't tell you the last time the neighboring McDonald's make mistakes as such. But guess what? In their drive-thru window, they offer the LOCAL FRANCHISEE'S number to call!...
Read moreI don't recommended this location at all. Today, I ordered through the drive thru (the lobby was closed). I realized that I was given the wrong burger when I got home. I called the restaurant but no one answered the phone, so I went back up there. The "manager" was visibly upset with me for returning my (incorrect) burger and asking for a refund??? She argued with me that it was somehow my fault that I was given the wrong burger. I had returned with both my receipt and the burger fully in tact to prove that I didn't receive what I ordered. She did refund my money but she shoved the dollars in my hand and dropped my change on the ground. Then, she immediately slammed the drive thru windows shut. I signaled for one of the employees to come to the window and I asked for the manager's name so that I could file a complaint with corporate. The manager moved in front of the employee and told me that she and her two kids were keeping the restaurant afloat as the entire staff had walked out on her earlier. If she treated her staff like she treated me then I fully understand why they would walk out. I told her that didn't justify her unacceptable treatment towards me, as I simply returned a wrong item that I received. Then, I let her know that I would be filing a complaint with the district manager. She responded by saying that she wished that I would complain so that the district manager would fire her and the restaurant would close. Stay away from this toxic...
Read moreI went to this location around 7.00am in the morning and ordered breakfast. The lady that was there did great us nicely pretty much just said "what can I get for you" in a grouchy way instead of saying "Hi Welcome To Burger King How can I help you today" few minutes pass and my 4 year old son wanted some pancakes. So I go back up to the front counter to ask for a fork and said excuse me 2 times and she doesn't respond. She takes care of the customer on front line then passes by me doesn't even say anything to me then takes care of drive thru. Then she walks passes me again and takes Carr of front counter. Then 3 times a row passes me again doesn't say anything. I say excuse me one more time. She finally answers and says are you needing something. I told her yes can I have a fork please. She doesn't say anything and then goes back to front counter doesn't even grab a fork that was right next to her. im waiting even more. She then passes by me again for the 4th time and takes care of drive thru again. Then she finally grabs my fork and instead of giving it to me tosses it to the counter and then walks away and doesn't say have a nice day. This is the worst expiernce I ever had at a Burger King. What worker could possibly pass a customer 4 times in a row. I waited 6 minutes just for a darn FORK!!!!! McDonalds has better service then...
