We hear a lot now days about poor customer service. You would think for a fast food restaurant that service is a priority. Not so at this restaurant. 2 seniors in their 70's go out for a Sunday drive and stop for a bite to eat. We ordered 2 of the $6 Biggie Bags. When the cashier rang it up she said $17+. We told her that was wrong as two $6 meals should only be $12+. She looked a little shy and nervous and it's understandable she may have been new. She asked for help from another employee and an African American lady came over. We explained about the cost, the 2nd lady said $10-something. We again told her that could not be the correct order and repeated our two $6 meals. 2nd lady couldn't figure it out and now we have a 3rd employee who said $18+. 3 people working on a simple order of two $6 meals. I simply said "wouldn't it be faster to just void that and start over?" The African American lady very rudely said "do you want to come over here and do it?" What???? A simple I'm sorry we'll get it would have sufficed. When I told her that was a horrible attitude she told me she doesn't have to listen to me complain. ??? What complaint, I simply offered a suggestion. I asked for a manager and she told me there wasn't one on duty. Would she have had that attitude if there was a manager there? When I said that isn't going to make for a good survey, in her snotty attitude she said "you can write what ever you want." Makes it sound like no one (mgmt) cares how they treat customers. No name tag of course. But if they have security cameras I'm sure they can figure out who she was. And if the other employees are honest, they can vouch for...
Read moreDave's Single: As a teenager there was a Wendy's just down the street from our house and one ramification was the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger became a staple in my diet (usually after sport practices). Not that I don't like Wendy's, but I know for a fact that I have not had a burger from there since before the pandemic. Going a step further, it has been so long since I've specifically eaten a "Dave's Single" that it was called a "Classic Single" the last time I had it (roughly 10 years ago). I was craving a burger and Wendy's had a promotion to get the sandwich for just $1, so I figured there was no better time to reacquaint myself. Unmodified, the sandwich contains a quarter-pound of fresh beef, American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle, ketchup, mayo, and onion on a toasted bun. For a fast food cheeseburger I was impressed. To start with, the sandwich was heavier than I expected it to be and the meat to bun ratio was satisfactory (no "Big Mac Syndrome"). There were plenty of pickles and onions to add a satisfying crunch to it. What I especially loved is that there are not one, but two slices of deliciously melty American cheese. Lastly of note, the burger patty is a distinct square shape that clearly identifies it as a Wendy's burger. I doubt it will be 10 years before I have another as I'm already contemplating going again. Read moreI used to eat there often but the customer service has been going down as time has been going by. Tonight my order was simple. Dine in. A double cheeseburger with no onions, fries a taco salad, and 2 medium drinks. I think or at least hope that the person taking my order was new because for that small of an order, it took 3 times of repeating it and then when I went to pay, because they don't have a chip reader, I had to swipe my card. It kept giving me an error and while the card is new, I still checked the strip. Then I asked if he could enter the card manually and he said that the machine was telling him to do that, he would. So I gave him my card and he just stood there. So after a bit, I asked him if he was going to enter the card and he said he couldn't. So thankfully I had another card with me or we wouldn't have been able to pay. Then while we were the only people in the restaurant waiting for food, we had to go back and ask for our cups to at least get our drinks and waited 10 minutes for our food. I was quite disappointed with our...
