McDonald's — Restaurant in Oak Park

I had a terrible experience at this McDonald location.I went to order me a meal and ended up being charged for someone else’s order and mines also. I realized while still there and the manager in charge that night was no help at all she was yelling at the employee that made the mistake and not once addressed me, not a sorry or an explanation to what was happening she just kept saying to the employee that they dont have to isssue a refund and that it will just go back to my card. I then asked for a receipt or some form of documentation as proof and was provided nothing. So the following day the transaction showed it was completed and no longer pending on my account so I went back to the location and spoke to a different manager that was there. She then shows me a blurry screenshot in a group chat that I assume is management and says the previous manager did the refund. I asked for a copy of the document as proof and yet again was met with excuses so I still have no proof that this refund was sent. She then tells me to come back 2 days from then if nothing was refunded so I wait the time then I call the store (given that I dont live near this location) I asked for the manager and i end up speaking to who i assume Is the general manager since there was no introductions when he came to the phone. I explain the situation and he immediately shuts me down and tells me to just dispute the charge. I asked for his name because I didnt know who I was speaking with and he hung up on me. I proceed to call back and was met with disrespect. He proceeds to argue with me not letting me get a word out and he says how this is his business! Keep in mind I just asked for his name!, he finally says it’s Adam, I never once spoke to him in a disrespectful tone I just wanted answers because from the first day of the incident I have been given none. Im not one to complain but the way I was treated by someone whos supposed to be in charge of the establishment was not ok. I didnt receive so much as a sorry for the inconvenience all I received was terrible customer service and disrespect! And now Im out of money due to someone...

This is the WORST McDonalds EVER! I have, for the second time ordered food for my children and it is horrible. On 5/12/24 I ordered delivery. A 6 pc happy meal and a 20 pc with 2 medium fries. Two smoothies and a vanilla shake. I placed the order at 7 pm. At 7:30 O looked at the app to see what was taking the order so long to get here just to find it had been cancelled! I placed a second order at 7:38 pm. Our food sat at the restaurant for 30 mins waiting for a driver to pick it up. I had to call the help number to get them to manually request a driver to pick it up! Finally the driver picks it up at 8:20 pm. The driver leaves the McDonalds, passes my neighborhood and sits somewhere by the highway for 20 mins and then turns around to drive toward my house. Finally, at 8:46, a he driver drops the food off and I have half an order. No nuggets! 1 medium COLD fry and 1 drink that had completely melted! I order again today at 8:15 pm. To Crispy Chicken sandwiches and a happy meal with the same 3 drinks. I received the food at a decent time. However, I didn’t get the happy meal. The sandwiches( if you can call them that) were literally thrown together! Meat hanging out of torn, burnt buns. Chicken was undercooked, fries were ice cold. If I could give this McDonalds a -0 I would! When I order food, I expect to get fresh, decent food! I don’t want a refund cause they can’t do their...

Yes it's convenient but........

I waited in lane one while the woman finished up on lane two. Instead of taking my order, she proceeds to take 4 other people who pull up after me in lane 2 before even saying a word. Then when the lady does come onto the speaker, she has an attitude.

I understand it is busy, but giving someone a straight out attitude before a word is said... the order was repeated four times before it was finished. Nuggets and fries. That's it. As we go to pull away, we can hear them still on the speaker laughing and joking around. Nice to see that trying to order a simple meal is funny to them...

Finally we receive the bag to find both the nuggets and fries are lukewarm. Some nuggets were kinda hard and old. I didn't even bother to go back around knowing I'd just have to wait quite a bit of time to very possibly receive the same quality of food a second time.

I definitely don't reccomend this place to anyone. Like I said, it is convenient in location but quality of food and customer service is very poor. Don't waste your time going to a second rate place.
