ordered a Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl and added salmon as an extra protein. There was no tuna and 8 pieces of salmon? The quality of the food wasn’t there and just LOOK at the avocado. Ridiculous. I paid $21 for this? I didn’t want to make the drive to Des Plaines to for a Poke Bowl from my favorite restaurant but I’ll just make the trip next time. When I entered a young, curly headed boy approached the register. No greeting, no smile, clearly didn’t want to be there. I told him I was picking up and he just handed me a bag. I said thank you and told him to have a nice day and he simply said “mhm”. After writing the initial review, I continued to eat the bowl when I bit into a fish bone.

Ordered from Poke Burrito quite a lot. Sad that they have raised their prices and for $5 per bowl limited change to the quantity of food you get. Also, my order has stayed the same from first order to now and you can see a difference in attention to detail in providing what you order online. Generally good food but poor customer service (ie not telling you things you ordered won’t be in your bowl) and poor presentation (ie bowl ordered today was barely full).

I love that I can make my own poke here. The poke is fresh, delicious, offers many options from tofu, shrimp, tuna, salmon, crab, etc. I got a medium bowl for $11, worth the money for quality but doesn't fill me up. The staff is nice and caring, takes them like 10 mins to finish the order. The only thing I don't like is the milk tea, it doesn't taste that good and you cannot choose your own toppings for classic milk tea.

4 times I have bought there and they charge you 20% more for tips without asking or discussing it. Cahiers then fake language barrier or misunderstanding to play dumb when you bring to their attention you didn’t agree to any tip amount. They do not remove the tips from the bill though. Also they do not ask, discuss or disclose tips so they are ultimately scamming unwitting paying customers.

To be clear, tips make no sense in this context there is no server. Poke Burrito has been a to-go food joint since the pandemic struck.

In short. The real price tag will be around 20% more from the tag price, which is honestly too expensive for what this is. If you buy from UberEATS you end up paying ...

I am changing my old negative review. I missed their food and gave them another try. To my amazement the food was like when they first opened. The fish seem fresher and the bowl was filled to the brim. The best poke bowl ever. So happy to see they turned things around with better quality and quantity.

wise My old review I had been going there since they opened. The last time was a repeat of my vomiting the smelly tough tuna all over myself. Originally the bowls would be filled to the top. The photo shows my last meal there. Probably half of the how the portions used to be. Needless to say I have not gone back. This is the only sushi place where the tuna has been...
