Basically I am just about to copy and paste everything that these other reviews have expressed, but if you’re in the mood for a fun story, please read on.
My extended family and I came to this Dunkin for a quick breakfast to end the weekend, and decided that our order would be too large to bother the employees by attempting to give it vocally, so we used the quick kiosk in front of the store to make it easier on them. We placed an order for quite a few drinks, a half dozen of the brownie batter donuts, a few croissant stuffers, and a lightly toasted bagel (ironically pictured below).
We received all of our food, drinks, and then had our name loudly called in an irritated tone by one of the employees at the front who pettily announced to the entire store “WHEN YOU ORDER AT THE KIOSK, YOU NEED TO COME CHECK THE COUNTER TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE THE DONUTS”. Since the counter was swarmed, we hadn’t looked, and there was no sign to instruct us to do so otherwise. I went up to the counter with my mother, and discussed with her what donuts we’d like instead of the brownie batter, but was interrupted by the aforementioned employee who said in the same annoyed tone, loudly to my face, the spiel about coming to the counter and they were completely out of the brownie batter by 0915. We kindly chose 5 of the Cupids Choice donuts instead, but kept the box unopened at the edge of the table while we ate the rest of our barely edible, charred meals.
Two other girls walked in and ordered the same brownie batter donuts, but were not met with any attitude, and were told nicely that they were all out. Less than 5 minutes later, a full tray of the BB donuts came out, and another woman, I assume the manager, immediately offered them to the other girls. My mom stood up and asked if we would be able to exchange the donuts that we hadn’t touched or even breathed on, since we were originally told there were NO other BB donuts in the building. The manager put her finger up to my mother, and pushed the original box of donuts out of the way, and said “once they cross the counter, we’re not taking them back”. My mom explained the fact, we were told one thing which did not end up being true, and if they had said there were more BB donuts in the back being prepared, we would’ve patiently waited. The woman immediately started raising her voice at my mother and pushed the box forcefully back at her. My brother-in-law then went to her defense, and calmly explained the situation including the original attitude given by the first employee, who then immediately snapped and loudly began to berate him before her manager, in an incredibly smart move, told her to stop talking. In an attempt to just end the entire encounter, the manager grabbed the box angrily, threw it away, grabbed a new box, and manhandled the replacement donuts before basically throwing the box back at my brother in law. Not to mention, the first employee who originally had a horrible attitude, was cussing and grumbling at us as we grabbed our stuff and walked out.
Customer service is a foreign land completely unknown to our world and it’s a shame. Please, go to any of other million Dunkin’ locations...
Read moreTerrible! Terrible! Terrible! We waited in line forever, well not forever but 15 minutes. When it was my turn I was advised by the employee to order at the kiosk. I went and did so and observed another employee come and help the person in line behind me. I don’t have a problem ordering at the kiosk but I did just wait in line for 15 minutes. I could have just done that right away and saved the time and why was the person behind me helped but I wasn’t? The employees are inconsiderate of others time and are rude. The service is you guessed it terrible. I spoke with a gentleman that was waiting in the store. He said they completely forgot his order and he’s been waiting a total of twenty or so minutes. He also explained that he comes to this store occasionally and the service is always sub standard.
The employees are slow and seemingly could care less. It appeared as if nobody was in charge and the employees were simply running amuck doing whatever they want.
My son ordered powdered munchkins and received glazed. He brought this to the attention of the employee and was advised to take what you get. I brought it to the attention of the employee and was informed the same thing.
Avoid this Dunkin Donuts. Do yourself a favor and travel an extra five minutes to...
Read moreI normally don’t write bad reviews, but the service at this Dunkin’ was so bad I had to. The woman who I think was the manager (pony-tail, black hat) was flat-out yelling at customers. If someone ordered from the kiosk, she’d yell things like, “CHECK THE CASE BEFORE ORDERING THE DONUTS”. It was rude and completely unnecessary.
When I ordered, she was nasty with me, acted like I was dumb for even being there, treated me like I was stupid for ordering cream and milk in the same drink and asked me “You want cream or milk which one?” and shoved my receipt at me like I was wasting her time. She was extremely inpatient and acted like me ordering an everything bagel on my bacon, egg and cheese was a crime. Every time a customer asked a simple question, she responded like they were an idiot.
I get that people have bad days, but based on other reviews this isn’t a one-time thing. If working at Dunkin’ makes her that miserable, then she should find another career because clearly this one is...
