La Granja — Restaurant in Oak Ridge

La Granja has never lost his vision. Because it doesn’t matter which of their Restaurants I go the food always I am telling you always is fresh there was one of them that was getting out hand on the quality which I call the main office and immediately they took care because I went back and the food was good and fresh for over 20 years I being going to eat and I love it they don’t even do any commercials they don’t need it because is the people who spread the word and reviews Now Pollo Tropical in another hand I don’t know what happened they lost what they make them great they focused more on the design of the restaurant instead to keep the recipe and now for the past 20 years the food always bad the chicken are horrible dry burn raw the beans are dry the rice always bad too they put too much water. Great food selection if they had it available. I ordered a combo that came with platanos Maduro for a little bit extra than the lunch special and waited 15minutes for them to make it when my order came out she placed chicken rice and some fries. I let the lady know that’s not what I ordered and she says we are out of Maduro’s so instead of letting me pick an optional side (I wasn’t able to she gave me fries without asking) I let her know I do not eat fries and if they would of given me a heads up I would of got the cheaper option. She gave me so much attitude and grabs some change from the register and in a mocking tone says here is your change this is all your getting . We usually love La Granja we've been there more than 50 times while living in Palm Beach County we moved more North and there are no locations close by. We drove an hour to Orlando today to shop and decided to check out La Granja there, I'm not sure how this is possible but the rice was undercooked the chicken was very dry, they messed up the order, the restaurant itself is filthy and from the order of the food to the person cleaning up the tables the experience was not very positive. I saw the staff being rude to customers for no reason. They just seemed to all be miserable. 3 stars is probably too many, the only thing positive was the plantains the drink and the surrounding customers who were all in a good mood like us and didn't let today's experience...
