Update: After tasting the pineapple pie, I've decided to give it another star. If I go back again and the pastries are better than expected, I will update my review. When walking into a bakery in the morning, I would expect a whiff of fresh baked goods. I didn't smell any fresh baked goods, and I didn't see anyone baking in the back room. There was no long line out the door like my other favorite bakeries in Chinatown. Those should have been signs to keep on walking and go elsewhere, but I wanted to give this place a chance. I asked the nice lady at the counter if the pastries were baked fresh. She said yes, so I picked up a dozen pastries for a gathering. Sadly, my family and friends were quite disappointed in the quality of the baked goods. NO one said the pastries were delicious at all.
