Elbo Room Jack London is almost identical to their Valencia location. Inside is a little dim, but not that you won't see what's going on. Plenty of seating styles from cushion booth to bar counter. Depending where you're seated at the counter, you may get a chance to see television reruns from 50s-60s showing. Indoor phote booth and ATM machine. Strong cocktails with $4 well drinks and a buck off all listed cocktail during HH. Happy hours is daily 4-9pm touts the longest in any Oakland bar. Only bar snacks is pretzels and it's cash only. Popped in for a drink before a movie at the near by theatre (which ended up being a private showing since we were the only ones there) and met a super friendly bartender called Eric. Door guy also on his game . My date and i appreciated the welcome after a near by Irish bar was not so friendly at all! Hopefully will be back and try to bring more business to the Elbow...

Checked out a show here - DubMission, place is awesome with great vibe and atmosphere. Mixed crowd with Z’s, mill, and gen x. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. There are 2 floors with the music venue being upstairs. Solid sound system with great base.
