Juice Joint Mexican Deli — Restaurant in Oakland

The name is misleading. They sell waaay more than juice. My favorites are their carnitas tacos (2 or 3 depending on how hungry 8I am) for $2.25 each which includes tax. They also have $2 tamales bit only on Wednesday but you have to early otherwise the good flavors go quickly. Make sure to grab the hot sauce which looks misleading as it's orange and doesn't look spicy but it'll make your eyes tear up.

They green agua fresca is my fave. There is a lunch special which changes daily - tinga, chile relleno etc. They sell fruit to go - mangoes, papaya etc.

They have non-Mexican lunch options too - soup, sandwiches etc.

This place is a hidden gem. Great prices on food that tastes home made, made your way. Huge selection on the menu, along with a wide variety of drinks and snacks foods.
