Edible Happy Pizzeria — Restaurant in Oakland

Worst service ever! Wasted my time to take an order over the phone to then tell me they couldn't deliver to the hotel I'm staying at. Which I also want to say that they also have two of stores are open with the same address so Nova Pizza is the same as edible Happy Pizza why they need two names I have no clue that's just annoying and ridiculous and a waste of time even more especially considering they're both open the same hours. Anyways what they told me on the phone after I spent the time ordering was that they couldn't deliver to me at the Executive airport inn @ Oakland ca. Distance 8 miles. And the reason for why they couldn't deliver is that they said they had no driver to use for me after they had already told me that they did and so I guess they decided that they would take my order and then tell me that they couldn't deliver it after they knew my address to begin with. I had a 72$ order - 2 medium pizzas gourmets and one mixed salad and three sodas apparently that sale and a nice tip which would have been like I don't know probably $90-95 all Cash for them no change needed back. and they couldn't do that because I don't know I guess they just decided that they didn't want to help me because they didn't want to drive 8 miles to come deliver a good sized order at 1:30 in the morning. So I will never order from this place again whether I have money on a card cash on me or whatever. I order pizza like every freaking week so I consider myself a pretty good customer. But yeah, I guess that's great for them. I'm glad that they didn't need or want my business and they're doing so well. Honestly they could have at least been nice about it instead of just rude and hang up on me after wasting time to take my order to then basically leave me feeling like the other places that would have taken my order were kind of too close to being closing (45 mins )time to even use their services too.. So yeah I will definitely not be ordering from here again. And I actually do remember there was one time I did and that pizza was like dry and cold but I didn't leave a bad review because at least they weren't rude that time but yeah anyways I'll say no thanks I'd rather be hungry than...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Definitely not a 5 star restaurant. Ordered a pizza for delivery, was called 30 minutes later saying "your pizza is ready but our delivery driver already left so can you pick it up?" Of course I'm disturbed by this, why would they Wait until the pizza was ready to call and say the delivery driver was gone already? I had my wife drive and pay cash for the "happy chicken bacon" and of course when she got back home, the pizza wasn't fresh and hot. To add insult to injury, they pizza was made without the listed ingredients, missing green onions, missing olives. I called back, requesting a refund and they say "no we'll make another and deliver" and we declined. They say we have to give back the pizza for a refund. We say ok. We ate 2 slices and because of that, when driver arrives to give refund, they say they'll give half. While on the phone with the operator of the biz, the driver takes the pizza and leaves without giving the refund. The pizza didn't look like the pictures, worse than a low budget mountain Mike's, and I'm out $35. Never buy from these people. Scam artists, not as advertised, don't do good business, and not men of their words. AVOID...

I accidently stumbled upon this little restaurant when my lousy lime scooter broke down. I wanted a quick slice but they make whole pies. So I ordered a Philly cheese steak. And I was very apprehensive, because I already HAD a favorite cheese steak. But they are no longer.😥 I chatted with the owner, and he didn't want to brag, but he said I would put all of the others aside after I tried theirs. What can I say? he was Right!! So delicious!! The home made bread...OMG! Then the steak was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of veggies and cheese. Not too much because then it takes over the flavor. Just the right amount of spicy. And the crinkle cut fries with their own home made ranch for dipping. Yesssss, my new spot. But wait, they deliver. Directly. No door dash or Uber eats with limited menu and added charges. Did I mention the delivery charge was $0.00. ? Hold on, they stay open until 5 a.m....
