We were excited to check out this new ice cream restaurant since it looked so tasty. I was even excited when I saw it said "powered by Dragonfly" when we walked in. I love Dragonfly and figured if it was powered by them it was going to be awesome. The staff was all young kids and they were understaffed for how busy it was. The restaurant was beautiful with sparkly icey tiles, blue led, and a cute, but modern atmosphere. We sat on the comfy chairs in the back while we waited for our ice cream and I was horrified when I saw how dirty the table, floors, and furniture was. There was ice cream on the table, crumbs on the floor, the floor was very dirty and there were ice cream stains on the cloth furniture. I couldn't believe patrons were so disrespectful with the furniture especially since the restaurant is so new. I understand they were busy and may not have had time to clean up the restaurant, but it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for awhile. The cleanliness of the place makes me not want to go back, but the ice cream was so good and...
Read moreMy milkshake was COMPLETELY melted when they gave it to me...even the whipped topping was melted. It tasted good...but don't call it a milkshake if it's actually a smoothie. My daughters cookie monster rolled ice cream was ok...just a little thick and really hard. My boyfriend had to wait a long time for his order. They made it with someone else's order before they did ours and gave it to the other party...then because they had already made one they didn't make his when they did our order..lots of confusion behind the counter. There is a lot of time being wasted taking photos of people's orders before they are handed over and it's slowing everything down. Also a lot of profanity from the employees so maybe don't bring kids in here if thats something you are sensitive about. I might give it a second chance...but I doubt it. Freezing Moo is better at rolled icecream, the orders are not melted, and the environment is more...
Read moreWe visited here on a Sunday evening and were the only ones there. It takes a minute to get your order because rolled ice cream is a process, but so worth it. And cool to watch anyway. It’s honestly the best ice cream I’ve ever had, I think my whole family agreed and we all got totally different flavors. The vibe is super cool inside plus there’s outdoor seating. Stools for the kids to see them chopping and rolling all the ingredients. Just a great place all around, we can’t wait to go back!
P.S. you get a small discount if you show your receipt from Longboards next door (that place is the best) and there are punch cards to earn a reward after so...
