Longboards Wraps & Bowls — Restaurant in Oakview

I went to Longboards Wraps and Bowls in Gladstone, MO in late June 2021, and that was my first time eating from Longboards. I would like to say that it is surprisingly outstanding to know that Longboards makes their unique cuisine using flavors from places on the Pacific coasts such as Hawaii, California, Japan, China, Mexico, and other places that touch the Pacific Ocean. The inside of Longboards is almost like a surfer-themed vibe with surfboards hanging on the walls. Because of all this, Longboards Wraps and Bowls is considered the “Wrap Shack” that likes Sotheby’s surfer’s lifestyle and also the island state of mind.

The menu at Longboards Wraps and Bowls has a wide variety of wraps served either hot or cold, and also bowls that can be served hot or cold too. As any other place, Longboards serves side dishes, beverages, and desserts. Customers can also add extra sauces, dressings, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients if they feel like enhancing the flavor of the wrap or bowl that they order. When I went to Longboards in late June 2021, I ordered the “Country Boy” grilled wrap and it tasted really good. I would also like to say that the service at Longboards was very quick as well. 5 stars is simply NOT enough, for the night crew!!!!! 20 STARS out of 5 is what rating I give the night crew! I got off work late, craving me some PHENOMENALLY DELICIOUS Longboards. I called them 15 minutes before closing, & they were so incredibly kind, told me it was no problem that it was so close to closing time, & took my order no problem at all. What’s even more amazing is when I got there, a few minutes after their closing time, they were just as nice in person as they were when I called. They weren’t trying to rush me out the door, & the cashier even asked me how my night at work was!!!!???? What a kind, caring, personable young man!! As if this weren’t enough awesome sauce, then another nice gentleman asked if I’d like an extra wrap that didn’t get picked up, FREE OF CHARGE!! I offered to pay for it, but they wouldn’t have it. Wow, just wow guys!! This is the kind of stellar service more establishments should strive for, but simply fall short of. Night crew at Longboards, I give you MAD PROPS for a job done exceptionally well!! Food is awesome. I love coming here to eat. Everyone is always very friendly. My only complaint is that even though I work very close to the North Oak location, it takes my ENTIRE lunch break (30 min) PLUS SOME to get food. That doesn't count actually eating it. I did address this with someone the last time I was there, and I was told that they don't answer their phones during lunch because it's too busy. In my line of work, being too busy is a good problem to have.They did tell me though, that I could call the night before and place an order for lunch the next day., that just seems a little unreasonable to me though. As much as I love the food, I just simply will not be able to continue coming here during lunch. And if I'm not coming for lunch, I'm just not sure when I will be able to come by, as it is not convenient any other time. I know I'm only one customer, but if I am having this issue, then surely someone else is as well. Maybe you could do some kind of email ordering system could be beneficial. Might also increase business!...
