Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Ocala

We ordered from them twice tonight...first time and last time. Ordered thru bite squad...an hour after ordering and after the driver had been sitting waiting for the food for 45+ minutes they were informed they were out of every single thing we ordered. At 8pm on a Sat night they were out of burnt ends, brisket , sliced pork, baked potato, green beans, coleslaw and corn...seriously??? I can now see why they have a 2 star rating...save your money and time e and order thru Sonny's or any of the ither reputable BBQ places in Ocala...this place...

I've been to a dickeys before many years ago. It was great, but this was not great. It wasn't even good. The beans were bitter and honestly tasted sour. The brisket was cold and extremely undercooked. I spit it out after my 2nd bite. The potato casserole was the only thing edible but frankly after eating undercooked brisket I just threw it all away....

This place is terrible! Please read this before ordering. You’ll pay $18 for an amount of food that your 8 year old can eat. They get your order wrong, and it’s not as tasty as Sonny’s. Just go to Sonny’s! Seriously, don’t wast your time and money here. Go...
