Earth Fare is a 100% organic, healthy products and foods store located in Lady Lake FL in the same strip mall as Goodwill and Total Wine. There is plenty of free off street parking. It has a large organic produce section as you first enter the store. The meat department has organic, no hormone meats and seafood, along with a butcher. Aisles and aisles of organic foods and products of all kinds. A very large health and beauty section with an amazing variety of supplements and products (who knew marshmallow root was a thing?), along with botanical cosmetics and skin care and 8nsect repellants, and more -- this section even has an advisor assigned to it full time whose job is to help customers locate products in health and beautiful from the bountiful inventory and explain how they work or what a customer might want to consider for a particular issue. One who end of the store is dedicated to the fresh food delicatessen and buffet, where customers can ladle out their own meals and salad fixings or have sandwiches prepared or buy roasted chicken meals, and much more. There is limited dining space inside and more dining tables outside. The wine selection has some of the craziest names and cutest labels ever. I have uploaded a boatload of pictures of the inside of the store to give you an idea of what some of their inventory is and how meat and spacious the store is. Don't expect Publix or Winn-Dixie prices here, but they do place certain items on sale -- since Publix and Winn-Dixie don't have a massive inventory of organics like Earth Fare does, you are paying for the luxury of having a store full of all organic choices available to you. Staff seemed pleasant and helpful. They use paper grocery bags at checkout, no plastic.

I'm extremely disappointed in this place. To be very clear this isn't a strike on the employees of this location but a strike towards corporate. Earth Fare claims no artificial fats or trans fats, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial preservatives, no artificial colors or flavors, etc as part of your food philosophy. Well thats strange because your meat department among other sections of your store clearly aren't following those rules. All of your seasoned meats have canola oil in them, which for those unaware, canola oil was used to lubricate machines and it took over two decades to highly refine this product to be sort of edible. Which it 100% is not good for anyone. You are also adding artificial colors and flavors, among artificial sweeteners. When I asked the employees they were unaware and I don't blame them because they can't even afford to purchase food here. Which is another strange and perplexing thought, considering I spend thousands of dollars here a month to feed my family. So where is that money going? Because it definitely isn't going towards working with local farms. Nope because a majority of the meat is coming from Australia. So it really makes me wonder what else you all are lying about? Oh and why is it that I have to go here three times week to get everything I need because some how corporate cant manage to keep the shelves filled? All I can say is I can't wait until Whole Foods is in WEC because at least I know where I stand with them. Good luck Fake Fare, I am going to be working locally with the farms for my food.

Expensive! Over $5 for one regular small can of soup, over $3.50 for a regular small can of soda, almost 10 bucks for a small single microwave lunch meal! They have a stand for a cooked chicken in a plastic bag sitting under a heat lamp just leeching out the toxic heat treated chemicals into the kitchen! I'm not joking or over exaggerating, this stuff is dangerous and what they have is very expensive. No wonder there's hardly anybody here! Man I used to shop here several years ago. There's absolutely no reason this place should be this expensive. Even if you are a member it's still really expensive. In my opinion it's just an excuse to say people are getting a deal if they join this membership club where they get a very small percentage off. Honestly, you can go to your local market and go to the organic section and get stuff way cheaper than they have here. It's just a gimmick. I don't ever want to shop here again! On the front of the building and says responsibly farmed locally Source made from scratch certified organic humanely raised preservative free but I have to tell you, I'm very familiar with pesticides preservatives colorants and bioengineered food products. Honestly they could get sued for having this stuff out front without a title of what they're pointing to when they say all these things about how good they are. I will probably never shop here again just due to the fact how they're misleading customers.

I loved earth fare at first! My favorite part was the butcher shop meat counter. The rose wood bacon became almost an addiction! Until one week it wasn't in the butcher case. I was directed to the pre packaged case to the left. Why would I drive across town for pre packaged bacon? Then the butcher said THEY packaged it there in their store & charged $2.00 # more for old bacon. That's how I saw it! :(

I was impressed in that you had one clerk to take care of the bulk food...to keep people from using their fingers, I thought! several weeks later the bulk food girl was in the produce section. She took the dispenser off of the shelf & placed it on the floor. Granted, it wasn't contaminating the bulk food, but seeing the debris under the container on the food & many spilled items in the place on the shelf, was very appetizing. It made me wonder what went on in the back where they took the dispensers to fill & out of the customer's eyes?

I LOVED your fruit & produce section. Since I'm the only one in my house that eats fresh produce, I can buy 1 of each fruit & only 2-3 potatoes. Last time I went, the potatoes were loose, but the produce was packed up in bags. Only a few kinds had a few loose :(.

Finally, the most important of all & the biggest reason I can never shop in earth fare again is the fragrance dispensers spewing forth mega smells into the air by the baked goods, deli foods & all but one check out!!!!!! I know they are the latest craze, but have you thought about the people, especially children & babies whose parent aren't aware that they have allergies or lung problems! I realize I am an unusual case, but my face was demolished in an auto accident & any scent sends my head into an allergic like reaction. You had them in the middle of the vitamins & beauty products. I usually stayed out of there. You are so careful about pesticides, GMO's antibiotics, then cover the open air foods like produce, fresh baked breads, the uncovered items on the salad bar, deli products. etc. with scents, that do not go away! Your employees aprons, hair, etc are smelling like the scent. I'm not a chemist, but surely those scents are somehow changing your virgin products! Thanks for allowing me to give ...

I frequent Earth Fare late evenings so I had yet to go around 6:30pm. To my dismay I had extremely BAD customer service at this store. I was wanting to get macaroons from the bakery and inquire if the store had any more French Baguettes. There was no one by the bakery for a good 5 minutes, so we stood by the Deli. And a middle age woman with short hair was attending the Deli area, and being very conversational with a lady in front of us who was getting a deli meal. After their exchange was over, she turned to us and asked us what we wanted to get. I asked, " First question I am wondering about is if you guys had anymore French Baguettes." To my surprise she seemed annoyed by that question and responded with a scoff and unfriendly tone, " Uh, I wouldn't know, you have to ask the baker. Guess I'll ask the baker. " She said this implying #1 that I had been there before #2 that we asked the wrong person who could be of no help. The tone had immediately turned harsh in comparison to the lady she had attended before us and if I am spending upscale prices like I did tonight at Earth Fare, I would expect better customer service. I did approach customer service area where a young lady asked me to leave her a verbal compliant and let the manager know of the situation. It's unfortunate that I have to even write this review because customer service at this location had not been a problem before. But when a customer feels bad about asking the wrong department a question and gets scoffed at, THERE IS AN ISSUE. Also, as someone who has worked in retail before I suggest Earth Fare have a more formal...
