I have been shopping at T.J.Maxx for as long as I can remember. My mother shopped there with me, I kept the tradition with my daughter and grandchildren. Now my daughter and kids shop there too. I even got my husband and step-mother into T.J. Maxx and the other Marmaxx store's. You just can't beat it for the prices and selection of item's from clothes, to kitchen needs. Check out the spices. I'm also partial to T.J.Maxx because I had the privilege to work for them for 25 year's. Although I am now retired I still remember how the company stressed how the store's should look and be maintained. It was a pleasure to see that even though it was at the end of the winter season, a busy time of the year, the store was very well maintained and the associates were kind. Keep up the great work! Read moreI shop at TJ Maxx regularly, thus when interacting with the cashiers one often tends to encounter rude associates. Today, I had to do a return, in which I have done before at TJ Maxx without issues, however, today, i was told that they would be unable to take my return due to the fact that the article of clothing had been washed. With the use of common sense, one can easily put together that tags would be destroyed once gone through the washer, yet I was given severe attitude and disrespect by two seperate employees. It seems that customer service is not a priority because there are no consequences when they act like this to customers.. The experience I had today and the utter hostility that was portrayed toward me has made me not want return to that store....
Read moreI showed up at 9:00 PM before they closed at 9:30 PM. Within 10 minutes they made 3 announcements that they were closing at 9:30 PM. I was approached by 4 different employees within 15 minutes “reminding” me of their closing time. I understand that employees are ready to leave at the end of their shift, but this level of communication felt excessive and, at times, overwhelming. Having worked in retail for over 8 years, I can confidently say that this type of approach is not standard practice, and it detracts from the customer experience.
