Wawa — Restaurant in Ocean City

I go to this wawa often. I recently visited last night and dealt with two very rude employees at the deli counter. The woman at the register was very sweet. I ordered a mac and cheese bowl and after waiting ten minutes was told I wouldn't be able to have mac and cheese for over an hour. I then was told to 'order something else'. with no direction, I ordered a hoagie from the computer. My order consisted of ham, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, onion, sweet peppers, salt, pepper, oregano. I assumed when the very rude woman at the counter told me to pick something else that meant what it was in place of the mac and cheese bowl that i already paid for. when I received the hoagie and was walking out the door she yelled at me for trying to steal!! confused, I left. I got home to open the hoagie and literally opened up a roll with ham and cheese thrown on top. not even any mayo. I am so disappointed in this wawa. I have never been treated so rudely anywhere. if you hate your job, get a new one. don't take it out on a customer. I suggest you fire this employee and hire friendly people who know how to make a sandwich. I will most likely not...

Frustrating and Poorly Managed – Wawa Allows Gas Vehicles to Block Tesla Chargers

I came to this Wawa location to charge my Tesla and had to wait 25 minutes because every Tesla charging stall was blocked by gasoline vehicles. There were multiple EV drivers stuck waiting, unable to charge due to careless, inconsiderate parking.

To make matters worse, I notified Wawa management, and they clearly did not care. No action was taken, no announcements made — just a shrug and indifference. This shows a complete lack of support or respect for EV drivers.

Tesla charging stations are not general parking spots — they’re essential infrastructure for EV users. Gas vehicles parking here should be ticketed or towed, not tolerated. Tesla and Wawa need to take immediate action to prevent this from happening again — whether it's clear signage, fines, or active enforcement.

Until then, this location is a waste of time for EV...

Went in and ordered a roast chicken sandwich on a brioche bun printed out my ticket then told they me they were out of chicken so I reordered Turkey and ham club sandwich.
