Surf Mall — Local services in Ocean City

I won’t b back, got a sweatshirt from here last Sunday, 6 days ago. Wore it while doing dishes and got dawn dish soap on it. I thought no big deal. Rubbed it in , rinsed it off and threw it in the wash and when it came out that spot was white. This was a blue sweatshirt so it’s a noticeable white circle in the middle of the 30$ sweatshirt I didn’t even get to wear for 1 day and their return policy is they’ll only take undamaged items so I can’t even exchange it. So I waisted 30$ and can’t even wear the sweatshirt anymore. Dish soap that is safe to use on a duck shouldn’t b removing the color better then bleach out of a sweatshirt. Thing is too I absolutely loved the sweatshirt and was so excited to wear it, and now I can’t wear it or get a new one. I come to the board walk every weekend and definitely won’t b spending anymore money anywhere...

The surf mall is INCREDIBLE!!! Me and my family go to ocean city each year and I always look forward to going down to the surf mall to look around and grab some cool things! They have really nice incense sticks, hoodies, candles, and so much more! They also have a lot of vintage band posters that are INCREDIBLE and will definitely light up any room! When I was there I got a smiths poster, and when I hung it in my room it looked amazing and I’m so thankful I found a place that has posters for a great price as well! 14 dollars! And it’s not just the smiths! They have queen, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, Bowie, Tupac, Nirvana, even some newer singers as well! Overall I give this place 5 stars, but I wish I could give it 1000 because it’s genuinely my favorite store! :) will definitely be stopping here again...

The worst experience of my life. One of the little shop owners, Bill, was under the impression I was trying to steal a shirt, when I explained to him several times I put both shirts back onto his racks, and the third shirt which I was going to buy was up at another front register to be rung out with other items. He would not let properly explain myself and used extreme intimidation tactics to belittle me. He even grabbed my shirt and took me to the Black Room, where I told him i changed, and made me look for the shirts that were obviously not there. At the end he realized he made a disgusting terrible mistake, did not apologize, and walked away after yelling at my girlfriend who was trying to help explain the situation with me. This place...
