This WAS one of my favorite courses on the boardwalk, but sadly it’s lost a lot of luster. The overall course is good and it has a lot to offer with a fully indoor course for rainy days, and a top level course with great views, but it’s really fallen off lately. I don’t know who thought it would be a good idea to remove the free game hole the end in favor of replacing it with a French fry stand, but that’s exactly what they did. It’s so sad, because that free game experience has always been my family’s very favorite thing about golf in ocean city. It drives us to go back for the challenge, but now without it, it just seems overpriced. With our favorite part gone, it has opened our eyes to other flaws as well. For example, the two “outdoor” courses can get VERY crowded and VERY warm. We just visited on a day cold enough to need jackets, it had to take them off and started sweating on the indoor portion.

Also, now they changed up the sound track to include some very slow non beachy, poorly fitting songs for the theming. If it ain’t broke stop...

As a vacation visitor of OC,NJ for over 20 years I've played Congo Falls and all 3 of it's courses many times. It's undeniable that the animatronics, music, cascading water, and atmosphere will captivate those unfamiliar with such detailed courses. The moment you enter, you are transported back in time to these 3 courses and their history. Depending on the course, you can see Ocean City and her boardwalk with fantastic ocean views and breezes. With 3 courses to choose from it never gets old. I will say it's clear this course the priority was on the architecture and surrounding water and animatronic features, the courses are pretty simple and standard. There is very little challenge to 80% of the holes. However, the atmosphere keeps you coming back and the sounds and views just make you happy to be having fun at the shore. If there were some fun obstacles placed on some of the real straight away holes you could up the challenge factor and fun. Overall, really fun courses that are just magic to children and undeniably...

One of my favorite spots on the Ocean City Boardwalk. Animatronic gorillas in a helipcopter greeting you overhead when you enter is always a pleasure. There are 3 different 18-hole courses in this exapansive multi leveled venue to choose from, which makes repeated visits interesting. For our visit we chose “Solomon’s mine” which seemed to be sandwiched in between the other two. Almost fully indoor, it was a nice reprieve from the sunshine, especially with the air conditioning (nice touch!) Overall the holes themselves were well designed and interesting; challenging yet not too difficult to stay within the par 2 for most holes. If anything, they could be a little more challenging here and there. Upkeep of the greens was good, not superb, but we didnt run into any wear and tear that affected gameplay. The decor of course was great. waterfalls, sculpted rocks abound and our course did feature lots of mining related props. This is definitely a must play for any mini golf afficianado...
