The store and location are clean and tidy as expected of Starbucks. The location is easily accessible. That's about all of the positives I have to say about this Starbucks.
The baristas abilities are well below average. Using the drive through is a hassle instead of a convenience because you have to repeat your order and customizations multiple times. The employees seem to be under trained. Orders take longer to receive here than other Starbucks locations. Every purchase of any beverages I've made here are either WRONG or simply not up to par with the standard of Starbucks in general. When a customer specifically asks for no whipped cream and soy milk substitute to whole milk that should be an indication of a possible food allergy or intolerance. It's annoying to order something, have it repeated to you correctly, receive the item entirely wrong, give it right back to them and have to wait for your corrected order. Nothing at this Starbucks tastes the same as what you're used to if you drink their coffees/tea at other Starbucks' locations.
I was so excited to see a Starbucks come to this area, but I'm SO disappointed by it in almost every way. When the location first opened I thought the employees were probably just learning and things would improve. However, they have not. Read moreVisited this location today. The system was down & the location was only accepting cash. After hustling up the amount needed minis aprox $0.17 the location decided not to accept the funds and refused to give me my drink. OK... I get that the amount was not all there. I was expecting to use my Starbucks app or debit, or credit card as needed. It's not the customers problem that the system is down. You all should have had someone outside taking orders that stated cash only so the customer could decide to stay or leave. Not have a customer sit in an extra-long AM rush line and tell them at the window. That was the first mistake. The second was to rudely handle the matter w/ one of your associates at the window w/ you Ms. Manager/ Owner. I will be notifying Starbucks Corporate of this matter. I am a stockholder of the company. I did continue my workday and landed in Biloxi, MS. I spoke of this matter to another Manager. She told me she would have accepted the funds I have then due to the inconvenience & will now. I told her that I will gladly pay for my drink & I put the cash in the tip cup. No rush I understand your busy. However, I noticed you gave the locals/ regulars their orders before mine. Knowing they placed their oder AFTER ME. Ive been waiting 20 mins.
