::Updated Review for new location::
But disappointed with the design, lacks the warmth or appeal of a true coffee house. Staff is still about an 80/20 split for service. Bathrooms still need work, guess that is a carry over from the old location.
Drive thru causes terrible congestion in the parking lot. I've been blocked in numerous times waiting to leave because the traffic wraps around the building.
Biggest issue though is a group of clientele they have. There is a group that seems to ALWAYS be there with anywhere from 5 - 10 little kids ranging from a infants to about 8 y/o. They do not control them at all and they are constantly screaming. And I understand kids will be kids, but there is a point when you need to keep them quiet in public. And the parents know because I've seen numerous patrons say something to the parents. And to make it worse, the parents sit outside and the kids make stay inside. I guess the parents want peace and quite while they enjoy their coffee but the rest of us have to deal with it.
::Outdated review from old location:: I'm a regular here so this is not just a review of one visit. 80% of the baristas and cashiers are fantastic. The other 20% are miserable. Seating is very limited, two comfy lounge chairs, only one is near an outlet! Two duece hightops, no outlets, one large confernce style table with limited outlets, one round deuce that shares an outlet with one of the loungers and then six round dueces placed in pairs but again no outlets. The store has one unisex restroom, located in the rear of the store. The restroom is not the cleanest not the most convenient location. If the store is busy, you can't get passed the people in line to get to the dirty restroom and if you do, you may have to wait in line. Did I mention the lack of outlets?? This is Starbucks, they need to step it up. I've been to plenty of Starbucks who have the outlets built into the tables and a few that even have touch chargers in the table tops! Oh, and no drive thru. But that's not really a concern for me but for others it could be a...
Read moreI had an experience at this Starbucks drive-through that left me feeling dismissed and dehumanized, and I’m sharing it here so you can decide for yourself if this reflects the kind of empathy Starbucks claims to stand for. Picture this: it’s early, I’m bleary-eyed, haven’t had my coffee yet—classic morning struggle. In a total brain-fog moment, I forgot to order at the call box. When I pulled up to the window, I apologized with a smile to the barista, April, saying, “I’m so sorry, I totally blanked at the call box. No coffee in me yet! Can I just get a Americano?” Barista 1 was kind and said they could make it happen. I thought, “Great, a little human kindness goes a long way.” But then another employee, Bad Barista 2, who was on call box duty, stepped in and shut it down. They told Barista 1 to refuse my order, no coffee for me. It wasn’t a hectic rush, and my order would’ve taken maybe 35 seconds (expresso shot + hot water). Instead of showing a shred of understanding for a relatable mistake, they wanted to send me away empty-handed. It felt like I was being punished for being human, and it was honestly embarrassing. It gets worse. Later, I got a call from someone I believe was the district manager, Carlos. I hoped he’d hear me out, but he backed bad barista 2 decision with a cold, mathematical explanation: the drive-through takes about three minutes from call box to window (apparently this location isn't hitting there speed goals), and my 35-second order would somehow be unfair to others. In other words, I wasn’t worth 35 seconds of their time. That stung, Starbucks is supposed to be about warmth and connection, not making customers feel insignificant. You be the judge: does this sound like a team that values empathy and customer care, or one that prioritizes rigid rules over a simple act of kindness? I’ve always loved Starbucks, but this experience made me question if this location actually cares about...
Read moreI always go to this Starbucks and their customer service is great.However I been there with my kids after school and ordered three drinks and three cake pops,when I got to the window I payed and received two drinks and three cake pops,a guy served me and took my payment.Another employee by the name of Aston came and asked if I’m missing something and I said yes I’m missing one more drink she looked in the car and said ‘I see she has two drinks’,then she said we only charged you for two drinks I said that’s ok I’ll pay for the other that’s not a problem.I then told her I felt really disrespected for you to look in the car and say that in front of me I won’t steal a drink I have my kids in the car.She then stated I have to look because I thought u were stealing a drink from us.I then told her why would I steal a drink.She then stated she is not serving me to move away from the line,I said to her but it’s not my fault and I would like to pay for another drink.She then called another employee who was very nice and apologized,the employee she called gave me the drink and said we won’t charge you for it I then told her no I would like to pay for my drink if Aston thinks I’m stealing a drink from Starbucks.when the employee she called came Aston then changed her story and said I have your drink right here and was going to give you.She did not say that to me she said I would won’t serve you pull away from the line.I asked if that’s what you call customer service.Aston was more mad at me for messing up my order and then did not want to serve me.This Starbucks the employees are very nice but today was a bad...
