I am now painfully aware of why there were so few cars in the parking lot on a Sunday after church! When ordering through the drive through they tell me they don’t have ribs at the start of the lunch run. What barbecue place doesn’t have ribs? I decide to get a chopped brisket sandwich like my husband is having, but I ask for no sauce on mine. Seems simple enough. I get to the window and pay, then wait a little while and have the sandwiches handed to me and told the fries will be out in a while because there is a problem with the fryer. If you know that, why would you go ahead and prepare the sandwiches to get soggy and cold waiting? I get the fries and head home with our lunch. The sandwiches are not good. The meat is like sloppy joes in sauce instead of chopped brisket. With the three people that I counted through the window working there, it seems they could have gotten something right. If they had sloppy Joe chopped brisket they could have told me and I could have gotten another meat. The gentleman at the window was very nice , good customer service . We ordered online and when we arrived to pick up order they had no pecan cobbler and no peach cobbler . Young man said they had just ran out due to someone had just bought it out and had looked at ticket right before which is understandable . We paid $10.99 for 4 pieces of burnt ends that were drenched in bbq sauce and were very dry , were not edible . Loaded fries were very salty ,asked for extra brisket on loaded fries and was not given extra brisket . The only good thing I could say was that was good was the sausage and the brisket on the 2 meat plate . They did compensate us with 4 ribs for not having dessert the young man’s said that the pecan cobbler was a seasonal item but was listed on menu for online order . This was probably one of the worst BBQ, if you can even call it that, I've ever had and I've had some sub par ones. I don't like talking negative about a business, especially a local one but it was that bad.

The ribs had no smoke flavor (wasn't really seasoned), very tough, rubbery texture, the meat was not falling off the bone easy. You had to pull it off with a little force. The brisket was ok compared to the ribs but it wasn't good at all. I should have known with the lack of people during dinner time but I figured I give it a shot. The only decent part of the meal was the mac n cheese.
