I’m honestly shocked. My husband and I with our kids pulled into the drive thru. We were greeted immediately and told they had someone dining in then they would be with us. We waited 10 minutes. No exaggeration. Went to the window. Waited a few more. Honked twice (with smiles) Called them. No answer. Drove around to go inside, waited about 2-3 minutes for a greeting of “I’ll be with you in a little bit.” No eye contact. She made a sandwich I suppose for herself or another employee because no one was there for pick up or drive thru and the two people dining in had their food. A guy came around and said their drive thru person walked out... said he Cooked-couldn’t take an order. Someone else would be there to help. We asked to speak to a manager. More than 5 minutes later, Molly comes out and was so rude... I’ll be honest, I was at a loss for words. She gave excuses and I asked to place just pizzas. We were told they were out of pizza stuff. And salad stuff. We then asked for a name and number to the person above her and she threw up her hands and said, “I don’t know what you want me to do about it, I won’t give that to you.” I said then how do I know where to address the issue? She said as she’s walking off, “number is on the receipt.” Let me remind you, we have yet to order to have a receipt. And she’s gone. A lady dining it brought us her own receipt to have the number and the other customer eating was shaking his head. I waited to ask for Molly’s name by another employee who as she was bagging trash told me so as to not be obvious. She also handed me a number to call on a piece of paper.
We don’t live in Odessa. But we make a day-trip once a month for orthodontist etc and this was a treat for us.
We ended up at whataburger because most everywhere else is closed by now. (Whataburger whose service was excellent.)
Reading reviews I see there is a reputation. The replies from “owner” appear to be copy and pasted. “Transformation of staff etc since eight months ago...” seems not to be resolved.
I realize it’s hard to get employees to work nowadays, but for the MANAGER to be this unprofessional, is absolutely embarrassing. We just RAVED on two men’s phenomenal customer service not even a block away about two hours earlier. So it does exist!
I am told Lupe is who I should call next. I will be. I will also take this to corporate if the number I have been left with does not offer a REAL solution and explanation.
Molly gave us excuses such as “they have cut hours.” And “Her employees don’t want to work.” We are in an oil BOOM! If this is indeed true, district, corporate SOMEONE needs to get a handle on this location. Because the CUSTOMER SERVICE is most likely why you’re having to cut hours. I know we won’t be back. Whatever the excuse is, this entire experience is Absolutely...
Read moreI use to order from here regularly for my office. We use door dash alot. I called Schlotzsky's to let them know they had ONCE AGAIN forgot part of my order was told by the manager "oh that is door-dash fault, all the food for every order is put in a bag and handed to the driver. so if you are missing food then they must have taken it out." So I asked so you guys double check every order before you hand it to the driver, and know for a fact 100% that the entire order is there " the manager said yes. I told her well maybe you need to cancel with door-dash because almost EVERY TIME I order you guys through them I'm missing an item and its ALWAYS an item I have gotten multiple of. 2 turkey guacamole sandwiches: I only get one. 2 brisket mac and cheese: only get 1. Then I mention that missing items also happens when I personally come in or go through the drive through and I still have to come back inside and get something again because you all forgot it. The manager then said "well its your job to check your order before you leave to make sure its correct".. THEN HUNG UP THE PHONE.
Nobody is perfect, clearly they think they are and the nothing is their fault. Food is not that great and is overpriced and hateful management.
a simple "Thank you for letting us know of the problem, i will let my staff know to double check...
Read moreNot sure if I went to the same restaurant these other reviews are describing. Odessa Tx, used to have the most amazing Schlotzsky's. Fast, clean, great service, accurate orders, got what you paid for, all around great place. The last couple times we've been that hasn't been the case, at least it still had clean going for it. Tonight they've had 2 customers walk out due to excessive wait times (claimed it'd been 30 minutes). Our meal was about half right, paid for extra cheese on a deluxe that didn't show. Ordered and paid for a turkey avocado, Received plain turkey sandwich. I asked about the missing avocado and got a "oh I forgot to tell you we are out so we just made a turkey sandwich." Ordered a ham and cheese kids sandwich add lettuce and tomatoes, Veggies were a no call no show tonight I guess. 2 other kids meals were a cheese and pepperoni pizza, thoes made it out ok. All three kids meals didn't receive the cookie or apple slices they were to come with. This is probably the 4th time we've eaten here in the last 2/3 months and it's progressively worse each time. Funny name,...
