McDonald's — Restaurant in Ohio

I stopped to get a Big Mac and was waylaid by a picture of their Bacon Special Edition Gold McCrispy sandwich. It was the worst thing I have eaten in a long time. So bad that my cat tasted it and turned up her nose at it. It not only was the worst chicken I’ve eaten but they failed to add the bacon. And even though imo bacon makes everything better, it would not have saved this “sandwich”. The cost was $7.99 just for that garbage alone. To make things worse I had the TV on and saw an ad for Wendy’s (which I’m not promoting) but they have TWO junior bacon cheeseburgers, a medium fry, and a medium drink all for $8. Then I truly longed to have my eight dollars back. Perfectly awful. Please save your wallet and your stomach from the agony. And that Special Edition Gold Sauce? They made me a coffee that was not right. Had to turn around after making it up the road a bit to get a replacement. Went inside, I'd originally done the drive thru. The person that took my order sounded like he couldn't be troubled. So I walk in, the young man at the counter acted like he wanted to be anywhere else but there. He got the manager, and after dealing with him I can see what his subordinates had attitudes. Not once did the manager say sorry. He just remade my drink and I actually had to tell him what to do. I get this quite a bit at another location. he'd left something out and I had to tell him to add it. His attitude.. don't even know how to describe it, but the service and the attitude of others reflected an obvious lack of leadership and decent etiquette. Typical Mcdonald fare and feel except there is no lobby service at this point in time due to covid-19. We decided to stop anyway considering we are on a little road trip and desperate for food. The drive thru line was curled onto the street so we were all commenting how fresh the food would be and we were right. Well as fresh as McDonald's food can be, lol. Then we spotted nice stone round picnic tables in the back of the parking lot. So we were sold on a quick meal that we could eat outside, in class lol! We ordered a variety of sandwiches: 2 big macs, a fish sandwich w/ extra sauce, plain double cheeseburger, and a cheeseburger might kids meal, all medium meals with drinks. They got the order perfect and everything was nice and hot. We all enjoyed our meals in the sun at the picnic table.
