Worst experience at a Panda Express ever, including this one. I have eaten at PE for decades across multiple states so I know what good service is at these places. To be honest if you go in here in day shift the service and food quality have always been great. Went in here yesterday for dinner with I assume is the "B" crew on duty. Despite a plethora of employees on hand and no one in line it took forever to aknowledge my family was there and to take our order. Then the kids working the line gave half scoops of everything ( I watched them do it). Then when questioned about it they became argumentative and said "sorry about your luck but that's a portion" which was THE WRONG thing to say.
I reminded them even on day shift they don't do that and the response was " we don't want the owners or management to wìonrite us up and put us on final warning" at least that's what Kristen told me. To add insult to injury I watched multiple folks come in after us and were served larger full size portions. Oh and let's not forget the constant side eye stares from the workers and the little girl who was manager on duty that essentially ignored it. Word of advice is get better staff with a clue on your afternoon also despite 5 people on the serving line and 2 cooks much of the food was either empty or looked like it was sitting forever.
If you go here go in on daylight the service was proper and much more friendly, otherwise stay away from the people on...
Read moreSomeone told me this place recently opened and suggested eating here. I thought I'd give it a try so I got two meals to go. I was not impressed with the portion size that I paid $6.10 for. You can see in my photos that they barely gave us half a bowl. I ordered orange chicken and stringbean chicken and spring rolls. The fried rice and spring roles were ok, but the white rice and and orange chicken was a bit dry. I hardly got any chicken in my stringbean chicken. While I was there at the restaurant placing my order I saw used toothpicks and trash just laying on the counter near the cash register. (They give you a sample on a toothpick, if you want to try something.) There were, like, many young people working behind the counter and they seemed a bit disorganized and confused. I read some of the other negative reviews and the response from the owner and I must say the response from the owner is very UNPROFESSIONAL. Really? This is how you treat your customers with snide remarks? That just shows how successful your restaurant will be in the future. So, in the future, my son and I will not be eating from this restaurant. Let's see what snide remarks the owner will respond...
Read moreSo I’ve tired Panda Express before in another city. I’ve never liked it and I was disappointed by what I got. I hear so many people saying how good it is. There’s a craze over this place. So I give it another try at our new location in town and I switched up on what to try. Of course I wouldn’t go for what I didn’t like last time. I try the mushroom chicken and beef & broccoli with half fried rice and half lomain. The two entree’s were really good. The rice was decent but the lomain was dry with little flavor. I also got a chicken egg roll and that was pretty good. Price was a little high for the amount of food I got. Chopsticks express would give me more food for the same amount of money. So I advise to give more food on the plates for the price you ask for. Other than all that costumer service was well mannered and very polite! I appreciate costumer service like that around here cause even though Lima is a small town compared to others it’s a very testy place to be. I work in costumer service and SOME of the people that live in this town have zero respect towards anyone. Just keep up the good costumer service. It will go far...
