Dear western sizzlin. If i could leave zero stars I would this place was horrible I would not recommend to anyone. First off when me and my girlfriend walked in the manager just pointed to the window and said that way so that kind of threw me off then we walk up to a like serving line that completely reminded me of a high-school lunch line and I was so confused I asked the girls behind the counter how things worked and they laughed and answered with what do you want to drink. Then still confused she asks what would you like to eat and i said where's the menu and she pointed above her to a board full of options (almost like a Chinese buffet) instead of being sat down and having adequate time to decide. so being my first time I panicked and choose the buffet, horrible idea, buffet was a joke nothing worth eating, I found my self trying to find other buffet stands because I was in disbelief of how little food was there. So long story short I will not be returning and everyone will hear about my experience. Worst "restaurant" experience in the whole 3.5 years I've been in lima....
Read moreCafeteria style with waitresses. Are you a cafeteria or a restaurant? Don't agree with the style, let alone you have to walk through a Cedar Point line just to order food. VERY disappointed you charge extra for cheese on your salad. No other salad options besides the only ONE salad they put out, could at least add Caesar salad or something different. However, steak was delicious and green beans were seasoned ok. Can't say much for your hash brown casserole. Bread and cinnamon butter was delicious. Our waitresses was also never around, asked my wife if she wanted a refill only to come back 10 minutes later with it when we were finished eating and ready to go. Apparently she thought talking to other employees and drinking her drink was more important. If it's your first time here you will feel lost when you walk in. You really don't know if you should seat yourself or wait for someone,...
Read moreFirst timers at this restaurant. After today's experience here, the best we can say is that we wish it were closer to our home in fort Wayne. As first timers, staff was very informative as to how to order and did not rush us even though there was someone in line behind us. Our steaks were done just right, tender, and great taste. They also warned us to save room for the complimentary ice cream, which I thought would likely be a small scoop. Instead the ice cream came in a paper cup with nearly as much over the top of the cup as was filling the interior of the cup and included chocolate and caramel topping. Likely this would have cost $5 or more at an ice cream shop. The waitress was extremely pleasant and checked on us a couple times to make sure we were satisfied. We'd certainly recommend this establishment and if ever back in Lima will most...
