First time going here and this place is HORRIBLE. We were told by the hostess that we had to sit at the bar on the left side of the restaurant because there were no booths available in the regular dining area. The place wasn't busy so I told the girl we wanted a booth. She took us to a booth back by the kitchen where we sat forever waiting for a server and no one came. Finally someone walked up and asked us why we were there. I told her we were seated there by the hostess. The server was irritated with me even though I didn't do anything wrong. She gave me a look and let me know this wasn't her table but she would go ahead and help us since no one else wanted to. She slapped some menus down in front of us and walked off without ever asking what we wanted to drink. We looked at the menu for a few minutes and I just had a very bad feeling about this place and wanted to leave. We left and I called the restaurant from my car and asked to speak to the manager. Some girl told me the manager was on vacation but that she was in charge of the servers. I told her about our experience and she didn't seem to care. She made every excuse under the sun to justify the actions of the employees and how we had been treated. No apology, no gift card or anything to compensate for our wasted time and sorry customer service. Instead, she used her fake customer service voice to tell me to have a good evening and stated that hopefully we would come back and give them another chance.    Read moreI hate this because everything is usually amazing. First off our server was awful and I hope it was because he's new and not just this bad. Short , skinny guy with glasses and facial stubble. Was working the bar 11/26 around 1-2 First he seemed confused about our orders. Then he kept forgetting to bring things. When my friend's guacomole burger came there was no guacomole. He deadpanned "I'll get you a side." and walked away before my friend could tell him that the burger was also overcooked. When he came back he sat the side on the table without a word and walked away. My burger was actually way too pink but he was never around so I figured it would be my last meal at Bubba's with this service so bon apetit 𤡠When it came time for the checks he brought the credit card machine over and again dissapeared...but I was paying cash. After 5-8 minutes wait after my friend used his card I fished out exact change and started walking away. In the most human tone of the day he rushed to the table and asked my friend if the cash was for him. When my friend explained he said "Ooh." In a much to sad tone. My $15 meal was ok. Nothing like normal especially with such terrible service. I am sure my friend agrees and he paid $36+ after leaving a small tip against my advice. So I guess business is up enough that food quality is down and ridiculously bad service is allowed? I guess we won't be back because the Hi-C , beer and leaving were the high points...
   Read moreThis used to be my favorite place to dine with my family when we visit Oklahoma City, but not anymore. We placed a to go order when we arrived in the City a few weeks ago, an hour before they closed. About 45 minutes later we arrived to pick up our order. Our hotel was only five minutes away, so nothing major. We get back to the hotel to find the rib-eye we ordered was not in the bag. Go figure, right; the best, yet most expensive thing in our order. My husband calls up there to find out if we can come back to pick it up since they arenât closed just yet and weâre right down the street. She said they can either give us a rain check or we can come pick it up. Considering it was our dinner, we wanted to come pick it up. When we got there, they were locked up and cleaning up inside; nothing major because she told us to ring the doorbell when we arrive. We do just that, and we wait and wait and wait. Finally a lady comes to the door and says theyâre just now cooking the steak and itâll be ready shortly. Hmm. Five minutes before that, we were coming to pick up the one we already ordered. It shouldâve been packed up and ready to go. Nope. Iâll show you a picture of the raw piece of meat they gave me. I didnât take a picture of the other side, but it wasnât even a shade of brown yet it was so undercooked.
