Honky Tonk Bar 405 — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

My very good old friend who now lives out of state use to come here all the time. This would be the 3rd time I have been here. My friend is fairly well known as a regular back in the day. Basicly we meet up here once a year. Thought things would be cool. Well basically my card got charged an extra $70 + . I called the next day to resolve the problem. I left my name and #. The lady said that the manager would give me a call back in the next couple of days. I should have known better. As the 1st day I didn't get a call by 6pm. I decided to call, guess what no answer. I called 2 more times. They hung up on me. The 3 and 4th call no answer. I called again the next day no answer 😑 😒 . I should have known by now that they will never answer my calls now that they have my #. WHY WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS. THIS WAS A OLD FRIEND GO TO ESTABLISHMENT. I have read some of the comments and it seems I am not the only one that this has happened too. Wonder if I can report this place to the better...

I was in town on business for the weekend and wanted live music and alcohol. Reading the reviews I could see this place underwent recent change. They were having a Halloween party and figured, this could be fun Evening started slow but it provided some insight with conversation with employees. I liked how Steve, and owner, came up and welcomed me. This is rare. I felt appreciated and comfortable. Couple of great bands playing music I dig, and lots of costumes and people enjoying themselves. Only negative, for me, is smoking is allowed inside. Give Brewskeys a try. New owners took over and couldn’t have the human decency to call the employees (which they had everyone’s numbers) for one to let them know new owners were taking over but for two to even let everyone know they were going to bring in their own staff… which is understandable BUT to have to find out through a FACEBOOK post, it’s bad business. It lacks RESPECT or human decency. I have loved and supported Brewskeys for 8 years and this is just not how you treat people that have put in year of work for the bar they love.
