While I’m usually not one to leave reviews I had to make a review after a staff member was rude to us for no reason.
We placed our order online while in store due to BOGO and having a bill too large for them to accept. After we submitted our order a line of people came in ~6 people I saw them put our mobile ticket aside and handle customers there, so I patiently got in the line to ensure our food was made timely and not to seem as though we were cutting to ask for them to make our mobile order. When we got up front and informed the employee she rudely stated we could sit down and wait, I have food allergies and have had issues in the past so I didn’t mind standing the line and waiting patiently. She then continued with her attitude as making the sandwiches because even though we entered online for 2 of our sandwiches to be toasted, it did not appear on the ticket.
The other employee who helped finish our sandwiches was kind when I had asked she add spinach to our flatbread and I apologized if it was my mistake for it not being on the receipt, of which she admitted she missed it.
The initial employee made me feel as the customer like I did something wrong when I’ve worked customer service for years and tried to alleviate them feeling overly pressured by us or our order. It was unnecessary comments and attitude when I was obviously caring about getting our food and our experience after she had initially left her team member after the manager I’m assuming left for a deposit per their mention, if I could have hopped back there and helped I would’ve. Read moreI am so, so disappointed in the experience I just had at this Subway. There were 3 employees working during the lunch rush, one of which wasn't making sandwiches at all, just checking people out. Myself and 3 other people I work with placed online orders at about 12:20p-12:30p. Our sandwiches were quoted to be ready to pick up at 12:35p. I arrived at 12:44p and one of the staff members told me they hadn't even started making our orders yet. Why is this frustrating? Because I pre-ordered these sandwiches knowing I only have a 30 minute lunch and don't have much time. After making all the sandwiches, it was discovered one of them was incorrectly made, which then had to be fixed.
Needless to say, I won't be visiting this subway again, and I will be telling everyone I know not to visit either. The owner needs to have more efficient staff who actually know what...
Read moreWent with colleagues at lunch during peak business hours. My first impression was that all the staff were not wearing hair restraints of any kind. When we were moving up in the line closer to the counter, the worker in the middle of the sandwich assembly line sneezed on his hands. Without taking off his gloves, washing his hands and donning new gloves, he continued to work on producing customers sandwiches. My group of three, which are all ServSafe food protection managers, completely disgusted, left immediately.
We are in peak flu season, and these workers are primarily working with ready to eat foods, which will not be given any opportunity to be cooked to a minimum temperature to kill virus/bacteria that contaminated it.
I would avoid this restaurant and hopefully the manager will be more concerned on food safety training with their staff...
