Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I've worked down the street from this location for over 10yrs...I never go her cause they have horrible hours and they are always out of something...There other locations owed by this owner is the same way!!

On 4/22/2018...I go there and order onion rings along with other stuff...Abut 8 minutes into the food prep I get a voice that say "Are you still here"...Umm ya...I already paid for my food..."Well we don't have onion rings!!!"...Really?? That's like Taco bell not having beans or hamburger meat!! I said OK well credit me my food back and I'll take my business elsewhere...Her reply...Oh OK Cool!!!...Then she only credits back for the onion rings...I said oh no sweetie I want all of it back...I'm not eating here...She said well we already have your food cooked...I said I don't care....I refuse to eat here and tonight just clarified why I don't eat at this Sonic!!

Corporate will be notified because my vehicle does have a camera and records audio...As I'm sure they don't care just like the store owners...

I usually don't have a lot of bad things to say about Sonic. The staff is always friendly, selection is decent, and the food typically fresh. Only real complaint with this Sonic is that it's always hit or miss when it comes to inaccuracy. At least 50% (likely more) the food doesn't come out like it was ordered and they way the took it down on the receipt. The biggest mistake I constantly see? Add-ons. If you add ANYTHING to your burger/sandwich, definitely check and make sure you got it. I paid $6 or $7 in add-ons on a larger lunch order and none of it was added, but I definitely got charged for it. Like I said, everything else is usually great and if you do have a mistake they are quick to fix it, but they just don't pay close enough attention to the actual order, so make...

The employees were all very nice and friendly. 😃 The order taker was very helpful and informative while taking our order.. He didn't pressure us in our slow decision making. 💤 We don't come often, so we're always brand new! Stelly chose the kid's cheeseburger 🍔 meal and 🍟 fries with a "peanut 🥜 butter" shake... I didn't know🤷‍♂️ that meant "peanut 🥜 butter cup".
