Worst experience I have EVER had in a Hilton Hotel. We arrived from the Oklahoma Airport to find this is not the good side of town. We checked in at around 1am with an older black lady and she was super friendly, but she was the only good experience we had. We were waiting for a friend to arrive the following day, but that morning we requested a late check out being a hilton rewards member, and Chris, who had the 11-7 shift, was super sweet but would never give a clear answer and always direct us towards the next shift to ask. But damn, the next shift was awful! Todd, who had the 3-11 shift, was repeatedly rude, was never behind the desk, and was always watching the news with his buddies. We requested more room cards because we had 5 people to a room, but he was dismissive “did y’all lose the one we gave y’all already??” We paid for 2 rooms, 2 nights. ONLY ONE ROOM CARD EACH? Besides that, Pearla with the long dark hair, who was on the 7-3 shift, repeated was asking “when are y’all going to check out? we didnt sell out our rooms last night so we need y’all to move to clean yours” along with that, Chris allowed us to check in with apple pay, but Pearla would not, requiring our physical cards for some reason, which wasnt a problem but her attitude definitely was. One house keeper were awful too, brunnette white girl, this one who I didnt catch the name of, repeatedly knocked on our door asking when we were gonna leave, despite requesting a late checkout. Besides customer service issues, there were also room issues. We pulled out the couch and found brown stains all over the pull out bed. Along with that, one of the kids lost their phone and when we asked the front desk about a lost and found, they said “Yes, but we will call you if we find anything. I know we arnt gonna get a call back.
We will NOT stay again. Do...
Read moreScammers, be aware! If you receive a digital key (meaning the room is ready to enter), regardless of when you receive it, they will charge you an early check-in fee if you enter your room before the "official" check-in time. They will do this without your agreement to these terms nor give you a choice to enter the room at the "official" check-in time. Scandalous practice! Shame on you! We received a digital key saying the room was ready before 1pm ("official" check-in time is 3pm or 1pm; they couldn't get their story straight). We used the key to enter the room but subsequently asked for a physical key (our preference) and when we did they told us they will be charging us an early check-in fee and didn't even give us an option to check-in later. How ridiculous then had the audacity to lie and say we requested early check-in (not in the confirmation!)! Then said it was not their fault the key was ready as they don't issue it themselves but Hilton does (well, if you're not Hilton then who are you?) so it's Hilton's policy (which is a load of crock). Then when disputed, they said it depends on the property - um ok. They make up their own rules and lies as they go along. So many more options at the airport than these thieves. And there's no bacon in the free breakfast. Well, I guess it's not free if you get charged an extra $50 for going into your room when your key was issued at 12:45pm. Worst Hilton property ever!
In response to your response - Stop lying. You only communicated the early check-in fee AFTER we accessed the room and when we asked for a physical key. At which point, we advised that we would NOT want to do early check-in fee but you had already trapped us by saying we "weren't supposed to check-in" - after the fact. Awful management and people, especially in the hospitality industry....
Read moreAbsolutely ridiculous experience with the breakfast lady. I came down at 8:45 and there were probably about 10 other people there looking for food also. I got the only remaining plate and started opening things and found the majority of the food items were gone. What I did hear was the breakfast lady and a contractor arguing loudly in the back and then the male coming out asking a manager for help with the breakfast attendant. Meanwhile all I could make for food was a tortilla with eggs, cheese and sour cream because all of the meat items were gone. While I was doing this another guest was pounding on the kitchen door yelling these need plates, meanwhile there are no cups for juice. The breakfast lady comes out with plates and I say there are no cups or food at all and it’s about 8:50 now and she says there is no food because she closes at 9. I tell her it’s not 9 so there should be items for people to eat. She goes to the back gets a cart and comes out and starts picking everything up to lead nothing at all for people coming down last minute to grab a bite before heading out the door. I recall a similar issue here during a previous stay and I had left a review on yelp and I guess it was never corrected. Probably best to stay across the street at embassy suites. This place advertises breakfast until 9am but they seem to give up on it about 8:30 and then have a poor attitude when...
