I am a creature of habit. I honestly hate trying new things. I was majorly craving sweets one day last August and we happened to see the sign on the way home and stopped in. The choices are plentiful! A little bit for everyone. Cupcakes, cake, cheese cakes (gourmet and traditional), pastries, cookies, etc plus an expanding breakfast and lunch menu! I am a hard to please person, very particular especially with foods due to some health issues. They had no problems kindly answering ALL my questions so I was comfortable. Now a year later this is our Saturday morning family breakfast tradition. I've even taken to spending some of my mornings in there working because I love the atmosphere, definitely a serotonin boost. I think we have tried about everything on the menu at this point. While there are things I prefer over others, everything we have eaten has been great! Support local !!! They are family owned and operated, as well as being locals to our town. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
Ps. My favorite person to see when we go in is the baby. He will brighten anyone's day amd as a working mom myself, I love seeing him there with...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place. I love supporting small businesses over big companies, but where there was an opportunity to be warm and inviting this place failed to do that for me. Granted, I will say I had the best carrot cake here that I’ve even had, but it was $5, so I guess for that price it better be good. I would’ve love to keep coming back, but I just didn’t feel very welcomed here, not sure if it was because of my skin color. The lady who helped seemed a bit over it, and she kind of rushed through our transaction and even started helping another customer while I was checking out. The last thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the “Indian taco”, I don’t know why but something about that does sound right. It’s just a taco in a fried bread of some sort that is most definitely not traditional Indian bread, so the need to add Indian to the name seems a bit tone deaf. Overall, this could have been a favorite hole in the wall, hidden gem type of place but having good product/food doesn’t excuse not having good,...
Read moreWas craving some cake. I had purchased the three milks cake and some other items before just to try them out. The milk cake tasted better than the other items. I returned to get that cake again and some cheesecake, trying it for the first time. I was disappointed and disgusted to see that the strawberry decoration on the cake was molded. did not feel like finishing up the cake. I wish I had seen this before. I mean for six dollars a little cake, you would think fruit would be much more fresh. I read some reviews about attitude, which I believe because I experienced it both times. They do try hard to be cordial at best. That may just be the way they are. Not going back though, not only for the attitude vibes but their products are old and too pricey. Also wanted to try their bread. that needs a bit of work, very gummy and salty, never had a salty sourdough before. Will make my own cakes from now on. I just felt lazy and wanted...
