Worst mcdonald's ever. Management is extremely rude has no common sense.
I ordered online because I travel for work and it's right next to my hotel. They have an uber and delivery window to pick up food. In the past, I go to that window, give them my order number. They make it and say it'll be a few minutes. And they give me my order.
But today, a different manager that i've never seen refused to give me my order. He stated that I had to go through the drive through. I told him I don't have a car and then I walked here. He said you have to go through the drive through. I told him I don't feel comfortable standing in line with cars, and he's told me that I still had to go through the drive through.
So I walked around and went to the drive through window. That's when he told me I needed a car. I told him earlierI didn't have a car and he told me he could not serve me.
Mcdonald's had already collected the money on from my credit card. So I asked for a receipt for a refund. He said it would go back on my card. Never mentioning that I had to cancel the order. It wasn't until another employee started yelling at me through the glass that I had to cancel my order if I wanted my money back after I asked for a second time for a receipt for the Refund or my food.
Needless to say, I was going to beat their system. So went back around in line gave my order number to some amazing lady. That helped me out and understood my situation and frustration. She stated that she had issue with the night manager here before too.
The employee, not the manager informed me that it's a security policy for them, not to open the window unless i'm an delivery driver. This was after, he'd already opened up the window three times to talk to me. She did not open the window and continue to yell at me through the glass. And told me that I was yelling at her. Well, of course, I felt like I was yelling. I had a barrier between us to communicate, and by this time I was very frustrated with the lack of common sense from the manager.
Finally I was able to get my food becuae of the help of a stranger, not mcdonald's understanding the situation. I had to stand around the parking lot with the cars and traffic. No ideal for safety. đ
Needless to say, this is my last late night trip to this McDonald's location.
This is the manager and pictures of the body language I was getting from the employee yelling...

A friend and I ordered breakfast in the drive through, 4 egg Mc muffins, 2 hash browns and 2 ice coffees. The woman seemed to have some trouble with American English but repeated the order back to us twice correctly. When reaching the window she told us the order again with the wrong sandwiches. I corrected the order and she then repeated the entire order back correctly. The manager was in the background counting money out on top of one of the freezers in full view of the window.
When we reached the second window we were only handed one drink. Upon checking my receipt we had only been charged for one drink. I told the woman in the second window that we had asked for 2 drinks and it had been repeated back that way 3 times. She stated that she didn't have a register and there was nothing she could do about it.
We drove around and sat in the breakfast rush line again. We told the same woman as before that she had ring us up incorrectly and she missed one of the drinks. She told us to pull forward. When we pulled up the manager was at the register and she was standing behind him. He left and she opened the window. She charged us for the ice coffee which was fine but when we asked for the manager she refused. We paid for the drink and asked for another straw. (The straw for the first drink had been put in the bag and was broken.) We moved to the next window.
A different woman opened the window and handed us a straw while rolling her eyes. We were then brought the second drink and she closed the window immediately after handing the drink to us while we were asking for the manager again.
The food itself wasn't hot and barely warm enough to melt the cheese. After sitting in the breakfast line for the second time it was barely warmer than room temperature.
Again, terrible service and lackluster food. There are plenty of Mc Donald's around, I suggest choosing...
Read moreHorrible. I sat in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes and still never made it to the first window to even pay before I just decided to leave. That is not the first or second time either. They are just routinely super slow but it seems to be a daily type of thing happening now. To be fair I think their lines have gotten longer since the other McD's in the surrounding area stopped being open 24hrs... but still it shouldn't take longer in the drive thru than going to Chili's, the Garage or any other nice sit down to eat full restaurant. Unless you just like sitting in your vehicle then consider somewhere else to eat because probably 90% of all other places close to this location will be quicker.
Also I was told I couldn't order my french fries without salt and was told it had something to do with a "button" like the no salt button wasn't available on the computer to ring me up. I get fries without salt all the time and I've even seen it listed with my order on the new display type menu's they have. I'm pretty sure it was just an extra step of work someone didn't feel like doing so I was told it was impossible to order. I even asked them to just give me some lightly salted, some that weren't covered in salt. I was told that just wasn't possible either. I think that is a Santiago group McD's. They all use to be pretty good but a few of them are definitely starting to slip in my opinion.
Also don't park on the west side of the building if you can help it. When their lines get long you will not be able to back out of your parking spot to leave. The line moves very slowly for some reason and you could be just sitting in your parking spot in reverse and holding your brake until another McDonald's customer allows you into the drive thru line until you get to where drive thru curves and you can go straight to leave...
