We stopped in at Ruth’s Creole Kitchen after finishing up the Hide & Go Bike ride and had such a great experience. We came with two longtime friends and between all of us we tried a wide variety of dishes.
The seafood gumbo was hearty and full of flavor, the seafood tip was excellent, and while the crab bisque was out, everything else more than made up for it. The wings were a hit, the Shrimp & Crawfish Etouffee was absolutely delicious, and the red beans and rice were a perfect staple. The Shrimp & Sausage Creole was packed with flavor, and the fresh made beignets were light, fluffy, and the perfect ending.
We also got to meet the owner, who was super friendly and shared that many of the dishes are based on his mom’s recipes with his own twist. The restaurant itself is very inviting, with a clean and stylish interior that feels like a little taste of New Orleans. The entire place was spotless, including the restrooms, which is a detail that really adds to the dining experience. Even the silverware and plates were pristine. We should have taken more photos of the food, but after a 7 mile ride we were too hungry to wait.
All in all, Ruth’s Creole Kitchen delivers authentic Creole comfort food in a welcoming and very clean setting. We will definitely be back — probably sooner than we should....
Read moreWalking into this establishment for the 1st time, the staff was friendly and welcoming. We had a party of 4 (2 adults & 2 children). Unfortunately, our experience was not the best. With what is already a limited menu, they did not have a kids menu. So what we thought the kids would eat they didn't have. This information was new to our waitress as well. You could tell when she had to come and break the news to us. So, one child did eat anything. At one point I had to take the other child outside to get some air due to her eyes started burning from the exhaust. I will say when I returned to the table, one of the staff (I assume the manager) was talking to my husband and apologizing for not having what was on the menu and offered to take the appetizer off the bill. The food presentation was great. Unfortunately my food I had was not the best. The sausage that was used had a hot dog after taste, and I literally had only 3 chuncks of chicken in my wrap. The chef came out to check on all the patrons and plus. The waitress tried her best. Unfortunately, as for now, it is a one and done for our family. I always encourage people to experience places...

I traveled over 500 miles just to bring my family to Ruth’s Creole Kitchen for a special family dinner — and it was so worth it! There were 10 of us, and from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel right at home. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and professional, and the even chef came out to greet us personally — such a thoughtful touch!
Now, the food… simply unforgettable. The étouffée, catfish, lobster pasta, mac n’ cheese, and gumbo were all bursting with flavor. Every single dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite.
My family and I had the most amazing dinner experience — laughter, full plates, and full hearts. If you haven’t been to Ruth’s Creole Kitchen yet, do yourself a favor and go. It’s a true gem, and we can’t wait to come back! We didn’t take pictures of our dinner. I forgot about that throughout our excitement, but I would like to include that Ruth’s Creole Kitchen also have an amazing...
