We are huge fans of Torchy’s and decided to check this newest location out.

First, I basically had to pull a hair out of my throat after my first dip of queso. The apathetic server grabbed the bowl and brought a new one a few minutes later. No apology; no customary visit from the manager.

When our food came out, the tortillas I received were flour, despite asking for corn. Instead of taking the tacos back, they said they’d bring me corn tortillas so I could move the contents of the tacos to the new tortillas. Though a bit odd, I agreed.

Usually, Torchy’s restaurants in my area provide two corn tortillas per taco. Apparently, this location does not. Cool. Not my preference, but that’s fine.

My wife’s taco was rather skimpy on the ingredients too. At least compared to what she was accustomed to at other locations, and compared to the same taco one of my children ordered. It was maybe half as full as my kid’s taco.

Halfway through the meal, a woman I assume is one of the managers came and asked us how everything was. We explained the hair, inquired about the tortillas and my wife asked about the skimpy taco. The woman explained that they give one tortilla because they’re made fresh in-house, compared to the pre-made tortillas used at other locations. Again, cool. Not my preference, but apparently multiple tortillas is a no-go at this location.

After explaining the tortilla issue, the woman somewhat begrudgingly pulled out two $5 vouchers, gave them to us and walked to the next table.

A more satisfying response would’ve been a comped queso, an apology for the hair, an offer of a couple more tortillas and maybe a re-make of my wife’s skimpy taco.

Ultimately, this location was subpar compared to our other numerous Torchy’s experience and we will not return...

Torchy's Tacos, a beloved taco chain, has gained a reputation for delivering creative, flavorful, and sometimes unconventional taco combinations that leave a lasting impression on taste buds. With an array of distinctive flavors and ingredients, Torchy's has managed to carve out a niche in the competitive world of Mexican-inspired cuisine.

One of the standout features of Torchy's Tacos is its commitment to using high-quality ingredients. From their tender and well-seasoned meats to their freshly made tortillas, the attention to detail in crafting each taco is evident. The menu boasts a diverse selection, catering to both traditionalists and those seeking adventurous flavor profiles. The "Trailer Park" taco with fried chicken, "The Independent" with portobello mushrooms, and the "Brushfire" with Jamaican jerk chicken exemplify the innovative combinations that have become synonymous with Torchy's.

The atmosphere at Torchy's is casual and inviting, making it a popular spot for grabbing a quick bite or indulging in a leisurely meal. Many locations have a vibrant and energetic ambiance that adds to the overall dining experience.

However, the popularity of Torchy's Tacos can sometimes lead to longer wait times during peak hours, and certain locations might become crowded. Additionally, prices might be slightly higher compared to some other fast-casual options, but the unique flavors and premium ingredients often justify the cost.

Torchy's Tacos has succeeded in capturing the hearts of taco enthusiasts by blending traditional Mexican flavors with innovative twists, resulting in a menu that offers something for everyone. Whether you're in search of classic flavors or eager to explore new taste sensations, Torchy's Tacos delivers a memorable...

Im never one to complain about service being bad as long as your kind but tonight I'm disappointed. It seemed as if the bartender didn't want to serve us from the beginning and as soon as we sat down without even say hi she asked for out id's. Standard as me and my friend are both early 20s but she was extremely rude and it almost seemed as she expected us to be underage. When trying to decide what to drink i suggest my friend get a drink and if she didn't like it we would switch because It was a drink I knew I would like. The bartender seemed upset that I told my friend to get a drink that she didn't suggest. She forgot our food and brought it out wrong which isn't that big of a deal to me but I wish she would have own up to the fact instead of using excuses for why it was late and then came out wrong. When we were trying to pay out we asked to split the check, some how she thought we wanted to take the drink home which we both know is very illegal, and rudely said "You can't leave with the drink" after saying we knew we couldn't leave with the drinks she repeatedly told us we couldn't leave with the drinks. Me and my friend are both servers and are well aware of liquor laws. Again instead of owning up to the fact that there was miscommunication she dropped the check not split and my friend ended up paying because we were both fed up. We are both servers and it not uncommon for us to get bad service because we are younger but I don't think I've gotten such rude service before. She made us feel dumb and the bar top an unwelcoming atmosphere. DONT BE RUDE BECAUSE YOU THINK SOMEONE WONT TIP! I have always tipped 25% but if you treat people like they won't tip then...

Apparently, Republicans don't like avocados or corn tortillas. I didn't know that ordering avocados and corn tortillas could be such a political statement. At Torchy's you can order a Republican or Democrat taco. The Republican comes with jalapeno sausage on a flour tortilla and the Democrat comes with barbacoa and avocado on a corn tortilla. What if you're a Republican, but you're also gluten intolerant? Do you put yourself through the pain of ordering a Republican taco even though the Democrat might be better for you? Or can you ask for democratic substitutions on your Republican taco? At that point, would you just be an independent? Anyways, I ended up getting the Mr. Orange taco and the Fried Avocado taco. They were delicious.

Before you start reading the whole review, know that I am not necessarily a fan of Torchy’s. We were making a Trader Joe’s stop and needed a bite to eat. It didn’t look very busy so we decided to give it a shot again. We waited in line for 15 minutes because they had one person taking orders and that person had an issue with a gift card. I don’t blame that person for this problem. It is a management problem. The music was super loud and the person who took our order couldn’t really hear us. After finally getting to sit down the service was much better and the food was decent. The Christmas taco special was pretty good! This place needs a management overhaul and it would be great.
