My 1st time coming to your restaurant hoping to see brightness, hawaiian feeling, and a place to come back too. NEVER AGAIN!! Will that happen very disappointing in your staff and letting my food and 3 other food bags sit on a shelf to get cold. I ordered my food at 12:38pm and waited til I walked up to the front asking where my food is. At that time it was 12:55pm ..A heavier set female asked what I ordered I showed her and she walked away..This isnt ALOHA ASTOMSPHERE...Then a young kid reddish brown curly hair asked what I got and I showed him the ticket he then tells me its probably one of these on shelf. I waited 17 minutes at a table with a # they gave me. I was extremely upset 😡 and I wont recommend this place to anyone to be treated this way at a place gonna tell people it's a aloha spirit or hawaiian place like home is a joke!! The black female who served me #3162379965698077 I said she served me and all she did is look at me and didnt apogized or anything to me. Your staff is a joke, you need to clean up employees to know what ALOHA means ans how to treat your guest and how quickly get your food. Now my food is cold!!
Im from and raised in Hawaii and this is far from ALOHA friendly place. Most employees only want a check and dont care maybe your employees need to eat cold food and be treated the way they treated me.
You should have your staff wear brighter tahirts to brighten up the place than black tshirts. Hawaii is bright not dull.
The arrangement on carry out food bags sitting on a shelf should change. Why give guest a # if your employees aren't gonna bring them to them. I did see a few people had their bags brought to them...
Read moreWe heard about the new place in town and decided to give it a try! It was late in the evening so our wait wasn't long at all. Loved the P.O.G. juice! My son and I both ordered regular sizes. He got the teriyaki chicken and pork and I got the tempura and steak! I enjoyed the flavors and think the teriyaki is very authentic and tastes like when we make it at home. Maybe I'm biased because we're Japanese, but it was very spot on compared to other places who say it's teriyaki, but it just tastes like sweet shoyu sauce. I don't know how to explain it, but it's good and you can actually taste the flavors of ginger, garlic and spices that were added. All the meats we had were soft and juicy, no issues with dryness at all. The portions are very unexpected and nicely sized, especially these days where everything is expensive and you get very little. Not here! It's average price with lots of food! I thought the dishes definitely gave the authentic experience of a home cooked Hawaiian meal and truly appreciated that. My less one star would be that the cashier was a little aggressive and spoke so fast that I couldn't understand her. I felt very rushed when ordering and couldn't figure out the card machine buttons. Maybe she just had a rough day and it was getting closer to closing time, but it was a little off putting and hurtful. The guy cleaning up around the drink area was very kind and friendly though and just his presence alone, he puts positive vibes in the air. Over all, we would definitely go back in the future. It's always good to see others thrive and succeed. It's nice to have more unique options for...
Read moreI had the pleasure of trying Mo' Bettahs for the first time with the kids last night, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Tiara, who was not only incredibly nice but also patient with us as it was our first time dining at the restaurant.
We ordered four regular plates with different meat options, and shortly after receiving our food, Jesse, the manager, came out and surprised us with a new spicy mayo to accompany our meal. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! Jesse's thoughtful gesture added an extra level of flavor and excitement to our dining experience.
What impressed me the most was Jesse's genuine care for the customers. He took the time to visit our table during our dinner, ensuring that we were having a great time and if there was anything else we needed. This personal touch truly made us feel valued as guests.
The food itself was fantastic, and we particularly enjoyed the teriyaki and katsu chicken. The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and the ingredients were fresh. The kids and I couldn't stop raving about how tasty everything was!
Overall, our experience at Mo' Bettahs was simply awesome. The combination of Tiara's warm and friendly service, Jesse's attentive and personable management, and the mouthwatering dishes made this visit memorable. We've already decided that whenever we're in the area, Mo' Bettahs will be our go-to restaurant. Highly recommended for a fantastic...
