If I could give 0 stars for this place, I would. I have honestly never had a worse fast food experience than I have here. Every time I have gone to this location the drive-thru line is 5-10 cars deep and moves as slow as molasses in January. Last night, I ordered on the app, foolishly thinking I could skip the wait and just grab and go. Ohhh nooooo, such would not be the case. Not only did I sit in the drive thru line for 10 min without the cars moving an inch, I also sat in the lobby for an additional 25 minutes before getting my food. There were literally 3 people working inside. There was one person working the window, what I could only assume was the shift manager was pacing back and forth spitting out some random words here and there, and the guy who was at the register (who had informed me that today was his first day). I'm not sure where all the cars went that were in line in front of me before I decided to go inside but I literally only saw 1 bag of food go out the drive thru window as I was waiting. None of the fryers were going. The only thing I saw put into a fryer was some cheese tots. Anyhow, after a 45 minute outing to a burger King that is a half mile from my house, I returned home with $35 worth of cold fries and burnt hamburgers. I realize that nowadays it is hard to find good workers, especially in a fast food environment, because the work is very fast-paced and stressful and the pay and hours usually suck. I suppose it's all a matter of perspective but if I were managing the store that night and only had 2 employees to run the dinner rush (if I had the people to do so) I would've A) attempted to call in a few more associates to at least help with the rush or... B) Taken the L, locked the doors and sent everyone home. Judging by the reviews just on here alone, this has been going on for quite a while. Do yourself a favor and...
Read moreWe used the drive thru at lunchtime for a fairly large order and were rushed at both the speaker and the window. No one made eye contact, smiled, or was even polite. Come to find out, one sandwich was missing; no wonder they wanted us to leave quickly, so we wouldn't notice. Well, it was mine and I noticed and we couldn't go back right away. There was no receipt provided or in the bag, either. So, I waited until after 2pm when most restaurants have little to nothing going on, and I called the number on the internet and it said it was no longer in service. I called the Tumwater location and it just rang and rang with no voicemail. I called the Lacey location and he answered on the 2nd ring. So, he wasn't just on or by the phone, but not too busy to walk over and answer it. But, he told me he was too busy to give me the number to the Oly location. I called the Tumwater location again and the fax picked up. Interesting since it was ringing a couple minutes before that. Basically, all around poor customer service from all the BKs in the area. Good thing I'm not a conspiracy theorist! So, then I went online and submitted a customer service request and never received a response. So, now I have to dispute the charge with my bank for a $5 sandwich they chose not to provide. All of this is too much work on my part, especially on an empty stomach, so we won't be back. This isn't the first time I've been disappointed with BK (remembering the moldy chicken sandwich they refused to remake) but it's the last. We will never go to another BK. If the corporate office isn't ever concerned with dissatisfied customers, then we can't really expect the individual stores to even bother trying. I've reached out more times than I can remember and they have never responded, refunded, or provided the food we...
Read moreThis place frequently and irregularly has it's lobby closed and now I know why. I called ahead to see if the lobby was open, I did not want to waste my time walking there if only the drive thru was open so I called ahead to ask. About 15 minutes later I walked up, saw there were customers eating inside, but when I went to the doors I found them locked. I even checked the other sets of doors. After several minutes of confusion I called again and spoke to the same woman, I explained I was the one who called and that I have arrived to locked doors. She said that she "had to lock the doors because there's only two employees and they needed lunch breaks." I'm sympathetic to the chronically understaffed problems a business can have but I simply cannot imagine why someone would lock customers out, and in, as a result. I do t have any idea what the owner/managment is trying to do but they are clearly driving employees away at such a rate they literally can't keep their doors open. As a result I will not be a customer there ever again and I encourage others to go to any of the other nearby fast food places that are apparently able to treat their staff and customers at least well enough to...
