My wife and I have ordered from this Domino's for years without incident. That is until last Wednesday, February 2, 2022, when we placed an order through the app (as we always do) but it was never delivered. We live less than 5 minutes from the store and approximately 20 minutes after I received a text saying Michael was on his way, I decided to call the Olympia store to check on our order. A woman answered and immediately told me that they were slammed. I expressed my concern about the order and she informed me that it was delivered to my previous address. I double checked my order on the app, as well as the receipt in my email, and my address was correct. I did not error, but I spent many years in the service industry so I chalked it up to a normal mistake on a busy weeknight and let it go. BUT when I asked the woman on the phone what my options were she said that I could put in another order but it would not get to me for at least an hour and I would have to pay for it. Not only did she refuse to replace my order, but she refused to refund my order as well. She told me to contact corporate after she implied that it was my fault the order went to my old address. I have been trying to decided whether to stop into the Olympia store, or go straight to corporate, but the truth is the sheer lack of customer service displayed by this woman last Wednesday night has left me in shock and unclear as to whether mending this relationship is even worth it. Perhaps, we will just stick to Brewery City, at least I know that at a minimum they will care about their customers because they can't afford...
Read moreThe pizza is always REALLY fresh, hot and has a lot of sauce, which is awesome. We often use the coupon for the 2 medium 2-topping pizzas for $6.99/ea. Rewards through the app are great also. I did notice on our last order that the tater-tot serving was about 70% (if that) of what it had previously been, so that was disappointing for my 12-year-old son. I will say that I tried the salad ONCE as one of the $6.99 items. I'm sorry, but it was BEYOND terrible. It was made with 3 ingrrdients:
Shredded older iceberg lettuce; Sliced "UBER-THIN" lunchmeat of the cheapest quality out there; Finely shredded bagged cheese (about 1 tsp.) of the same very low quality.
Even for $6.99...I wouldn't see anyone paying even $2.99 for the side salad.
That said, while we love the pizza and I highly recommend it, I cannot recommend the salad (if you want a great salad, order the Cobb salad from Brewery City; however, know that with that comes a HEFTY pricetag that would otherwise get you 4 pizzas at Dominos!
Finally, the employees at this Domino's location have always been very kind, nice, speedy, and I've never had a bad experience going in there, so we...
Read moreI try not to eat pizza often, cause I have no self-control once I've my hands on one, and this Domino's makes that even worse by making their pizzas SO TASTY! Hehe, but really, I used to get pizzas here pretty regularly in the pre-2020 world of actually having house parties and stuff, and they've always done a really good job (aside from occasionally forgetting the dipping sauce, so double-check that). Do to some health stuff, I've been avoiding wheat, so I got the gluten-free crust this last couple times, and I swear to you: I wouldn't have known it wasn't normal if I hadn't picked it out. The gluten-free crust is thinner and doesn't have much edge, but I honestly prefer it to the regular, especially since I didn't feel bloated or particularly guilty after eating it. I 100% recommend this Domino's location, and I 200% recommend trying the gluten-free crust (100% for each one I ate all at once 😂).
Attached is a photo of the gluten-free crust pizza I got. Very, very tasty, even...
