Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Olympia

Today they had a special from 4-8 where their basic subs were 1 dollar. All subs were 4.99 off. With this seal even their bigger subs were only 2.50. An absolute steal. The lines were long and the parking in short supply but we did park. They had 2 lines going and we got through in about 15 min. Excellent considering the number of people. They got all four of our sandwiches correct and only about 60 seconds passed from the time when we ordered until we had a bag of 4 sandwiches being handed to us. All of them were good though simple. No hot subs are made at Jimmy John's. Just basic subs made really fast.

To those who posted 1 star reviews because they don't deliver to your house I would encourage you to rise from your seat and walk or ride the mile or two to get your sandwich. Freaky Fast service can't be a complished if they have to drive outside their radius. I think it is unfair to give a business 1 star because they are doing what they say they will, not because they are not doing what you want them to do. No business can succeed trying to everything for everyone. They set the parameters under which they choose to operate. Rate them on what they promise to do not what they haven't promised. Are you going to give Subway 1 star because they won't deliver you...

I placed a delivery order to be delivered one minute down the road to my teenage daughter who is preparing for a choir concert at the James Kovall Center. I provided the address, my daughter's phone number, and a description of the building and yet the food was never delivered. I come to find out that the delivery driver, who was from Uber, was texting my daughter in Spanish and didn't even speak English. They were given very specific instructions on how to bring the food to my daughter who wasn't allowed to go wherever the driver had gone by mistake and the only response from the driver was "I'm cancelling the order". Well, my response to that is, I'm never ordering delivery from Jimmy John's again. What happened to the actual Jimmy John's drivers? They were always great. Always on time. Always friendly. I also want to be clear about the fact that this is not a dig on the employees who make the sandwiches or work in the restaurant as they are always fantastic and my daughter and I eat there regularly. All of that being said, this is incredibly disappointing especially the time where I needed to feed my daughter and thought I could count on...

10/5/23 @ 2:30PM came as a Walk in and went to front counter. Young girl with colored hair and no name tag was extremely rude. I said hello she just looked at me and didn't respond back. I ordered and they weren't busy no one inside or in drive thru. The girl who was making sandwiches started to get the bread and make my sandwich the front counter girl who took my order came over to her and said "you can wait you don't have to make it now" and laughed. The other girl didn't listen to her and begun making my sandwich. Sandwich was good as expected. I'm a weekly customer here sometimes multiple times. I understand the front counter girl was young but the rude customer service was completely uncalled for and unexceptable. Where is the manager when all these young kids are running around being rude and chatting with each other? There was no mayonnaise in the Togo area and after the treatment I received I didn't want of ask. Didn't get to fully enjoy my sandwich. No thank you or have a good day nothing.
