Very disappointed. This review is for the bulgogi beef. Ace BBQ (A Korean BBQ "Ma and pop" owned restaurant that is now closed) set the standard of what bulgogi should taste like. But even so, other Korean BBQ around here tastes better than K-town's bulgogi beef. I have been wanting to go here for a couple of months now and I was finally able to visit last night. Their portions are small and the prices are a bit premium for what you actually get. K-Town Rice bowl bulgogi beef tastes like day old ground beef that was tossed in some flavorless sauce. This beef is not marinated for 24 hours and tastes of low quality. Barely any vegetables with your portion and an overwhelming amount of rice to substitute for the lack of beef and vegetables. As for service, you've got to get the cashier to speak up and especially with the wall barrier and the masks on. My husband had questions, but couldn't properly order because he simply couldn't hear what she was trying to explain about the dishes they serve because she refused to raise her voice. So calling it in would be the best way to order. I will say that their pot stickers are delicious and the white rice was perfectly done. You may find better things on the menu, but do not go here for...

First thing i noticed was the kpop playing... ok ok i see what they're doing here. Next thing is how uncomfortable the seats are and I'm always leery about any Asian spot when I don't see any Asian folks there eating but I was pleasantly surprised the food was really good. The spicy pork was a little on the sweet side for my preference but the meat was good well seasoned. They do offer Korean sides, not the sides I personally desire ie. Fish cakes and cucumber kimchi but none the less they had side dishes so I do appreciate that. I was very excited to see the option of cauliflower rice. Being diabetic that won me over. I'll definitely return much sooner. Now let's talk about customer service. This is really really important to me and they definitely hit the bullseye during my experience. Server(who is also not Asian) was superior in her service. Her timing was impeccable, her attentiveness above average, her courtesy and ability to multitask was extremely impressive. So thank you to her. I can't wait hi be back and try the Ramen all the comments and reviews are...

Excellent. I am often wary of asian food spots in Olympia that have too much variety .. sushi and Chinese food for example, Thai and sushi etc. K town has variety, but pulls it off with quality too. Their katsu sandwich is my favorite so far. It had a little bit of spicy mayo type sauce and cabbage in there with the breaded chicken, and it was all very good.

I ordered it with a side of jalapeno macaroni salad, and while it wasn't spicy at all, it was very tasty. I like spicy food so this was a bit of a let down, bit the flavor was very good. Will order again.

I saw a very nice beef and rice bowl come out, and my wife ordered a very good udon. The broth was light and the noodles weren't soggy. I want to come back and try more items off the menu, like their Bulgogi beef bowl, or the ramen as well. All in all a great spot for lunch, would love to see what they could do in a brick and mortar, as the place was spotless clean and very...

I've been coming here since they first opened. Food was alright, service great. But then an ownership change happened. There was a bit of a learning curve for the new owners and you could tell in the food so I didn't come back for a while. I recently gave them another try and have visited them five more times after "coming back", because everything is SOOOO AMAZING NOW!! Service is wonderful whether it be lunch rush or dinner. And the food is DELICIOUS. Consistently so. Ingredients are fresh and food comes out hot and perfectly seasoned. Their banchan tastes homemade, their pickled shaved turnips are delightful. Try the dol shot bimbimbap which comes out sizzling, and Jajang Udon is yummy, oh and their Yum Yum Fried Chicken, lightly tossed in a gochujang sauce that has a little kick and a lot of flavor. I definitely recommend K-Town. 👌 😋

If you’re looking for an authentic Korean dining experience, K-Town is a hidden gem you don’t want to miss. The owner, who also happens to be the chef, pours heart and soul into every dish, creating flavors that are both bold and perfectly balanced. The menu features a fantastic selection of classic and fusion Korean dishes, all made with high-quality ingredients that truly shine in every bite. The kimchi is house-made and has the perfect level of spice and fermentation, while the bulgogi is tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Tofu Soup Combo and was not disappointed. Beyond the food, the service is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and personal. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in ensuring every guest has a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
