We traveled to Omaha for the first time and had four kids in tow. Right across the street we saw the Dolci ice cream shop and knew we had to try it out. The kids loved the ice cream here! Even one of my kiddos who isn’t typically into ice cream said it was the best he’s ever had! Attached to the ice cream shop is a candy shop with both brand name and homemade candies. The truffles here are the best I’ve ever had. It was fun to let the kids pick out their favorite candies and prices were on point. The staff here is friendly and attentive.

When I stepped in the store and saw the menu I highly doubted if it’s just a average store for tourist . It’s not like any high end fancy ice cream store with modern outlay and atmosphere. It’s just a small store with friendly owner. The ice creams were great and not very sweet. Cannoli is so much better than I had at other fancy Italian dessert store.

Super cute dessert shop in the Old Market area. The frappes were divine, ice cream was great, and the service was very friendly. We were staying nearby for a few days and stopped in multiple times because it was so good and the prices were unbeatable. We will definitely stop again next time we’re in Omaha!!

I stumbled into this little gem yesterday while I was in search of the candy shop next door. I ended up having an espresso and another cup of coffee while having a really fun chat with Mary and Mary Beth behind the counter. They were very accommodating and full of information from food, the community, and how the shop was started. Don't miss the opportunity to stop in. Grab some coffee, ice cream, or pastry. You will be glad you did. This is the perfect little spot to visit after eating supper in the old market or on an afternoon that you need a sweet snack and a little escape. Like tiramisu but you don't have time to stay? They have you covered with a walking tiramisu cup that will surely put a smile on your face as you take it to go. Enjoy the shop. Heard about this shop, my SO and I were visiting from out of town and went to old market this weekend. When we walked to this shop the sign on the door said closed so we sat down to wait for the rest of our group. I had rolled my ankle and my knee was swollen and I didn’t want to keep walking. The shop owner came out and asked us to move because the seating was for her customers. And she had people standing behind her. We got up and moved for these people, and went around the corner to enter her shop through the other entrance, thinking the closed sign we saw on the first entrance was a mistake. Went around the corner and she had Locked the door and the sign on this door was marked closed as well. Apparently the shop is selective about...

This is the kind of service that is worth sharing. I’m from out of town and randomly visited this place. I ordered a german chocolate cake but only liked the chocolate frosting on top. Didnt notice the coconut on the bottom which I don’t like on my desserts. The clerk notices that I did not finish so to satisfy the rest of my sweet tooth, I ordered a Canoli. He brought it to me. I gave him my card and he said, please…. This one is on us. This might seem like no big deal but for the $2 the canoli was worth, he bought a customer for life.
