Several weeks have passed since I ate here, but this is one of those restaurants that I simply cannot forget, for the food was exceptionally awful.
I love pad thai. Nutty noodles tossed with tangy sauces and savory slices of steamy chicken. Oh the joy of delivering forkfuls of sweet, smooth, and salty strips of slippery noodles into my mouth. The textures, the aromas, the umami.
The pad thai I ordered here brought me no joy; in fact, the food was reminiscent of despair and anxiety. The experience left me dumbfounded and disoriented for the rest of the day.
In essence, what I received was wide noodles (à la pad see ew or pad kee mao instead of the usual pad thai noodle) tossed with a sauce made from what seemed to be sugar and ketchup with a little egg mixed in. The ketchup noodles were accompanied on the side by a few chunks of chicken and a pile of whole, uncrushed peanuts. To say it was awful is an understatement. This dish made me feel like the victim of a cruel, humiliating prank. What had I just eaten? And why did I force myself to eat it?
I am very reasonable when it comes to food. I couldn’t care less whether something is “authentic” or “traditional”. What I was served at this restaurant, however, did not meet even the lowest bar. There was no way to find enjoyment with this meal. Pad thai simply should not taste like sugar ketchup noodles.
At least I enjoyed the spring rolls with watered-down peanut sauce. Diluted peanut sauce is sad, but it’s easily forgotten.
Sugar ketchup pad thai, however, is not easily forgotten. How I long to forget this episode and regain my...

The family owned Vietnamese restaurant is great, small, but great dishes for the price.
The chef prides himself in making everything fresh and not frozen. He loves the customers and greets them when not too busy. Their menu is simple and worth trying each menu item, no two similar plates have the same taste. Each dish brings it's own unique taste.
I love that almost all their food is healthy and delicious to eat, I highly recommend their Beef salad with a side of rice. It's not the typical American salad dish you are thinking.
Their Boba drinks are delicious, ask for less sugar if you are not a super sweet person. The Spring rolls in their appetizer with their unique peanut sauce is delicious.
Their soups are delicious, but as a meat eater, I desire more meats or variety of meats. But even without the extra meat, it fills you up and it is tasty.
Their curry dishes are also very delicious, I had the pleasure to visit the restaurant multiple times and try almost all their curry dishes.
My biggest positives is their healthy dishes, I never have regrets after eating their food. I would rather eat here than any other fast food or expensive restaurant.
Try some of these Dishes: Steer Fried Lemon Grass Chicken. Beef Salad with a side of rice. Charbroiled Chicken/beef. Cat Fish Yellow Curry shrimp/chicken Spring rolls Boba tea
I would list more, but their names escape my mind. Also the hours that are...
Read moreI came here for a bubble tea, but left wishing I could have a to go cup of the red curry instead. I ordered the red curry chicken and a mango bubble tea. The food came quickly and was plenty for such a low price (6.95). The first reason I give this 3 stars is because the chicken was clearly very roughly cut, and some fat and gristle made its way to my plate. Other than that the chicken had good flavor, the red curry sauce was AMAZING and the peppers and onions were delicious as well. I ordered my bubble tea to go for dessert. It was blended like a smoothie. I don't know what kind of powdered flavor they used, but it was not to my taste. Finishing it was not worth the carbs, so I didn't. From my one experience I recommend going elsewhere if you want a drink like this, and the second reason it...
