5 Star Pizza — Restaurant in Ontario

Let me get what I didn't like out of the way first. I was super excited to order the pastrami pizza (love pastrami pizza) which the description states pastrami, mustard, pickles and cheese. Once I picked up my order and got into my car I should have checked the contents but I didn't so that's my bad. Got back to my hotel, opened up the pizza box and was confused by what I seen. This couldn't be pastrami pizza so I called the restaurant to inform them that they got my order wrong. So apparently what I was told if I wanted "pastrami" pizza with the mustard and pickles I needed to order the Philly pizza which makes absolutely no sense🤔. So I explained that on their website under pastrami pizza the description says pastrami, mustard, pickles, cheese and if that is not the case then they need to update their site so no other out of towner makes the same mistake. Needless to say I ended up with a pizza with very little pastrami. Even though I was disappointed the flavor of the pizza was surprisingly good, the wings were good and the dessert was good. The pizza was good. The accounting is not.

I visited twice. Once on 03/20 and again on 3/21. This is on a work trip. My meals are expensed.

When reconciling my expense report, my credit card statement shows charges for 32.09 and 29.00.

My food was ordered and prepaid online. I tipped sight unseen.

When picking up my food, I asked for a receipt. I was given the kitchen ticket with no dollar amount. He said that's all he had. Another gentleman came to the register and printed me a proper receipt. Both printed receipt showed $27.17.

When calling, the only option I was given was to "swing by and we can work something out." I don't live even remotely nearby.

I understand CC fees. I have worked in the service industry. I tip consistently and well. There is not much point to getting a receipt if it does not have the final and total amount paid.

Get pizza here. It's good. They have sports on big TVs. If there is a problem, you may or may not be satisfied. Review your receipt if you have to...

OMG! This place was so perfect. My pregnancy cravings of the wall wanting tacos and meatball subs. I ordered the meatball sub for myself and my husband ordered a specialty pizza for himself. Of course I have to dip my hands on his pizza and my goodness! I never knew pizza can have the taste of tacos. The crust on the pizza and sub was so perfect that I understood Nicolette from Ratatouille. We enjoyed every moment there. It was closing time by the time we left and our van battery went out. We had our toddlers with us and they went out of their way to help us. The customer service and food was amazing. Definitely a must try location. I was very surprised it was empty when we got there to be honest. At 1st I thought the food was going to be horrible since it was empty but we will definitely be going back to try the whole menu.
