Stopped here before going to my appt at the cancer center to be unhooked from my chemo pump. I had about 3hrs to spare and they were just opening at 11a so I pulled up about 10:45 and waited. I assumed the food would if anything be fresh because it was so early and wait times should be short because no one is here yet. WRONG šŸ˜‘ the wait times weren’t too bad but everything I ordered was brought to me like they didn’t want me to eat it! Just a sloppy presentation initially. I ordered broccoli and cheddar soup in a bread bowl. When ā€œKathyā€ brought my soup out she had her thumb on my bread and soup was spilling all over the sides of the bread bowl. Don’t complain…. Just ate the soup and didn’t touch the toasted bread to that she touched. I ordered a small deep dish pizza but she told me that they were out of pizzas today šŸ¤”ā€¦. No complaints told her I’d look for something else and let her know when she returned, however I saw another couple as I was leaving, eating their deep dish pizza (same veggie pizza I was going to order but somehow they have them now) mind you this couple walked in the same time I did. I decided on fried fish and instead of fries, I requested asparagus. My food came while I was in the bathroom, when I came out it was sitting on the edge of the table for anyone to walk by and touch and looked as though they didn’t want me to eat it. The asparagus was just thrown all over the tray, the tartar sauce looked the same and the fish was strewn around the tray the same way the asparagus was. I asked a random manager if the plate looked fine to him and he said he didn’t see a problem with it but he could have it replate it if I wanted. No sir, not sending it back just to have someone play with my food to make a nice presentation the second time around. I tried to eat it anyway, the fish was saturated with oil and was so greasy and fried extremely hard (and I typically like my fish fried hard but not like this plus I don’t even ask today). The asparagus tasted like nothing and was completed wilted. Whole plate was inedible…. When Kathy came back, I just asked for the check which the same manager brought me flipped over. I notice they took the fish off…. Kathy (my server) came back and snatched the receipt and my card off the table and said as she walked away, be right back. No apology no excuse me while I take your card…. Nothing ā€œlady where did you just get an attitude fromā€?? I left no tip and went to the bar and bought a $4 orange juice, drank half and tipped the bartender $20…since her service was unchanged the whole visit. I treated myself to lunch to waste time and cheer myself up, wound up being a waste of money and added frustration

I’m torn between what was more disappointing: the lack of pride in the chef’s preparation, the server’s failure to recognize that serving this dish was unacceptable, or the manager, Angela’s, dismissive attitude when the bartender requested her assistance to address the situation. When the bartender saw the burnt salmon and discolored guacamole, he asked if there was anything I needed, only to notice my plate in such an unappetizing state. I want to be clear: I was not attempting to avoid paying nor seeking a free meal. After a long day at the hospital, I chose this restaurant because of its reputation, and I genuinely wanted to enjoy the meal I ordered. What made this experience worse was the lack of response from management. Angela’s disregard for my concerns and failure to take accountability were deeply disappointing. When another employee overheard the conversation and suggested that management might benefit from ā€œpeople skills training,ā€ it became clear that the customer service experience was severely lacking. This was especially disappointing as I had previously recommended this restaurant to many, including others who, like myself, drive long distances for medical appointments at Cleveland Clinic. A simple gesture, such as comping my meal, would have been a reasonable resolution, and I would have understood that mistakes can happen. However, the dismissive attitude, lack of care, and refusal to acknowledge the issue left me deeply dissatisfied. Given my experience, I will be reconsidering my future recommendations to others.

I have never been to a BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse before and wish there was one in my area. This was a great restaurant experience with exceptional food. The staff was very friendly and had a welcoming attitude. The restaurant had tall ceilings and an open concept which created a great atmosphere. The food was excellent. I ordered the Avocado Egg Rolls as an appetizer with the sweet tamarind dipping sauce, and it was fantastic. They really set the tone for how the rest of the food was going to taste. The egg rolls had a rich flavor to them and the dipping sauce had a sweet touch to add to them. I ordered the BJ’s Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich for my meal. It was a thick, crispy chicken breast with honey mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, dill pickles all on a toasted Parker house bun. Unfortunately, they forgot the side of coleslaw. But I did get a side of fries to go with it. The sandwich was by far the best crispy chicken sandwich I ever had. Overall this was a great restaurant to eat at. My only complaint is that the service was a bit slow and it took about 15 minutes for me to get my drink and about 20 minutes to get my appetizer. I highly recommend eating here!

This place is a dumpster fire. The level of incompetence is absolutely STAGGERING! Booked a reservation on Dec.6th for my birthday December 29th. We get to the restaurant and they lost our reservation. We had a party of 16 people showed up to the restaurant. We had to prove that we had the reservation first off as the manger was trying to deter us from staying suggesting we called the wrong place. After it was determined that 16 people didn't just show up we waited over an hour to be seated. Once we were seated. We were informed that they were out of chicken wings calamari and a few other appetizers. We placed our orders for our food and waited for about an hour and 20 minutes. After the hour and 20 minutes wait for our food, we were then informed that they were out of mashed potatoes and baked potatoes for the sides that we ordered. I asked was this not something that you could have told us when we placed our order an hour ago and she said she has just found out herself. Turns out whoever was running the kitchen did not put enough baked potatoes in to supply the restaurant and would have taken 45 minutes to make them. Finally got my food. My steak was overcooked. I ordered medium rare and I got medium well. I sent everything back. This was my birthday dinner and it was ruined. The GM also stated they would cover our appetizers only to try and walk it back later. We had to argue for them to keep their word. There is more than this that happened but I digress for now. We will be sending a message to corporate on all of this. Stay away from this restaurant. Go to the one in North Olmsted or just go someplace else. Applebee's would have done a better job than this. This is very sad. I'll say again this was my birthday dinner and the experience was pitiful. Incompetent, inadequate and unprofessional. Go someplace else. Do not come here. Just shut BJ's in Orange down. The owner should invest in something else...this location specifically is a failure. If you hate customers then just close this dump, stop water boarding the public with your...

I had a very poor experience at this location. We picked this resturant to celebrate my daughter progression to the next grade. Upon arrival, we stood or waited for almost 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and seat us. There was no server or hostess in site. When we were finally acknowledged and seated, our server was attentive with ordering but not with follow through or checking on the table. We waited over 20 minutes for appetizers, mind you the resturant was less than half full. Half full would be very generous. Then it was almost 25 minutes until our entrees came out. One of the customers in my party had a question/ concern about his food and he had to flag down another server to address. The issue was the calamari meal, it had some hard noodles that the customer was unaware came with it and he was questioning it. The person who was not our server suggested they remake the order without the hard noodles, gave him a plate to place some of the calamari on the plate to eat. After she removed the plate, a woman who works there approached the table without greeting, introducing herself or questioning what the concern is. She just said that because 1/2 of the food was eaten it couldn't be replaced. That was incorrect, he did not eat half. The amount he removed from the plate was still on the table uneaten. He offered it to them she said that that is still more than half of the food eaten. Since he did not want to argue he didnt speak more. Very poor customer service. That experience alone left a poor taste with me. Another person in the party asked for no mushrooms on her sandwich and it had mushrooms. Given the lengthy amount of time it took to get our food and the experience with whomever that woman was, we decided not to sent it back. She had to eat the food off of our tray. Lastly, when we pulled up we saw a man in black smoking and peeing outside of the resturant towards the street. When we left, it was confirmed that he works there. What kind of establishment hires someone who will do public urination at 1pm...
