Great little spot on outskirts of the Orange Circle... the service is very good and the food, speaks for itself. They don’t formally cater, but on my last birthday my wife got the food for the party from Taco Adobe - the owner even let us borrow out a warming container to keep the trays warm - Who does that? If you had to order one protein, or if you could only pick one, definitely hit the carnitas... it’s like magic.

Another thing that seems novel, but they do superbly is their salsa. When that basket of chips comes out, you get a little giddy. It’s smoky and just something you have to sit down for yourself and have. It’s a good way to whet your appetite before the food comes out. Also, when you order a soda, be prepared to drink out of a large cup. Good way to wash down tacos or a burrito.

Parking is in the back but be mindful if it’s crowded, it’ll put your 3 pt turn skills to the test. Otherwise, Taco Adobe is a quaint and popular spot, but the food is worth it if you have to park at the next block to get...

Yum! I've wanted to try this place for sometime. At the recommendation of a friend, I tried their fish tacos, and was a fan at first bite. They serve chips and salsa if you dine in, and be sure to ask for their spicy salsa. If you like heat, you won't regret it! The fish tacos were on special and include beans and rice. The rice was rather underwhelming and could've used a little more seasoning, but the beans tasted like they were stewed the entire day and a lot of love was poured into them. They offer many options including burritos and combination plates, as well as an a la carte menu where you can order your typical street tacos.

Side note: they have their own small parking lot behind the restaurant which in an added perk if you can find a spot, because parking in the area can be somewhat...

What's Good: the best Shrimp Enchilada in town. The Chicken Chipotle (Pollo a la Chipotle) is really good and so is the Torta. Sometimes, they have the Lobster Enchiladas as a special item - it's good but we prefer the shrimp.

If you're dining in, there's bottomless chips and salsa. If you're ordering takeout, there's enough chips and salsa on the side of the entrees but if you want leftovers for the next day, get a separate order. The house salsa is delish, not too spicy.

Other notes: it's a true hole in the wall, it's fantastic. They serve beer for those kinds of days. There a small parking lot in the back but street parking is easier in and out. Takeout orders are super quick, usually 10 minutes even on busy...

This place is somewhat hidden on one of the quiet, side streets adjacent to downtown Orange. It's definitely got a nice, mom and pop, hole-in-the-wall feel, with a very relaxed decor. I had the Salmon Yucateca plate, and the salmon and the veggies were delicious. The only thing that was somewhat off was that the rice was undercooked. My wife had the Chipotle chicken plate and found the same thing to be true with her rice. The horchata was a little too sweet for her liking, but I like mine a little sweeter, so I had no qualms. We both loved the flavor of our meals, though, and will definitely visit again.

Came here on a hot Saturday afternoon 100f in September 2020. For my first time it was just ok. Maybe the experience would be better on a cooler day and if we ate inside. The smothered rib eye burrito was excellent. The carnita tacos were a little dry. The beer got warm quick in this hot weather. Food was served in take out styrofoam containers and plastic utensils. We noticed when a couple left the table it wasn't sanitized before allowing another couple to sit down. Not good during this time. Don't know if that's normal but it did happen on our watch.
