Wazabi Sushi is in Old Town Orange, which is one of our favorite go-to places for sustenance during weekends! Wazabi Sushi has a 4.5 star rating on Yelp which made me wonder it took us this long to try them out???!!! Anyway, this is our first visit and came away with smiles on our faces and a happy belly!!! We had a couple of beers, some edamame. Had the Wazabi Sashimi wrap and Salmon Poke Bowl. Now this is fresh and tasty!!!! The Sashimi Wrap is one of those dishes which makes your eyes fly wide open at the first mouthful! And now I have a new go to for Poke Bowl! Meccha Oishi!!! This place is a must try! Wow, the sushi and combinations are amazing. Quality fresh and delicious. We had a Nigiri 12 piece with a roll, a handful of appetizers, including items I’ve never seen on a menu before. You can tell the chefs have pride on what they serve and how they present. The Awesome roll truly was awesome! The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy and has a great vibe. They don’t take reservations. My only feedback is we wrote down our name on the waiting list for 2 along with a phone number. We asked a server if they would call us when our table is ready and they said yes. So we walked across the street to a local bar for a beer while we waited. We ended up calling the restaurant to ask about our status, turns out they don’t call you.
