I have had multiple and consecutive bad experiences here so figure I would leave a review. Last night, my wife, toddler, and I spent over half an hour waiting for our food. We used the Wendy's app as we always do and we had the option for curbside pickup which we selected. 10 minutes pass. 20 minutes pass. I then to start calling the location and 3 times I hear someone picks up and then slams the phone to disconnect.
Finally at the 33 minute mark we realize we cant cancel our oder and get a refund so we make our way through the long drive through line. Keep in mind, as we initially waited, there was an employee at the entrance talking with his "friend for a good 20 to 25 minutes" and as I tried to talk to him he completely ignored me as well as 3 other waiting customers. Okay, he was probably on his lunch or break so fair enough.
As we waited in the drive through line we noticed multiple signs pointing to the designated parking spots labeled "Mobile Order Pickup". The young lady who gave us our food was nice and listened to my complaint. As I was talking to her, 3 other workers who were nearby essentially ran away not to be confronted. She says they were short staffed, however, their kitchen was quite filled with employees (we counted at least 8). At the very least, they should have taken down their curbside pickup / Mobile Order Pickup signs and/or covered their curbside pickup signs at the parking spots with a message to inform customers they are not doing curbside pickup orders.
Customer Service just doesnt seem like what it used to be. If there are customers waiting at the curbside pickup spots and your system clearly shows an order for curbside delivery (which we confirmed they did) then have someone go out and let the customer know to use the drive through, better yet CALL them. If there was a problem with a curbside pickup order, EVERY other place I have bought from has called me within a reasonable timeframe.
Anyways, I am done ranting. Best of luck to everyone else. I will...
Read moreAs I walked in there were three people up at the counter and then the person I was with and then me. After 15 minutes, one of the people at the counter left saying their lunch break is almost over so they're going to another establishment for food. The cashier kept announcing they were the only one up at the counter, but four people were there. Making food and various other things. She helps the two remaining people at the counter after losing an order for a mobile order.
Taking my friends order, they asked for a double stack with cheese. She asked multiple times what meal. He clearly stated no meal. She shrugs her shoulders and says "I'm just going to put the number one". Then asks what drink he wants. He did not want the meal. He told the person several times just the burger. After five minutes he is able to complete his order of a burger and chili.
Now me. I ask for the $5.00 biggie box.
I asked for the jr bacon cheese burger one. She asks if I wanted anything else.
Yes, to modify my sandwich.she asked me what I meant by that and I said I want to take things off of my sandwich and add extras. She was like oh you want to customize your sandwich. So I tell her I want it dry, add extra onions. She looked at me confused and asked why dry onions were. So we spent 5 minutes going over each and every thing I wanted on a jr bacon cheeseburger.
Do you want the meat? Uh.. yes. Do you want the bacon? Yes. It's a bacon cheese burger Do you want mayo? No.. I said dry. Do you want onions? Well yeah I asked for extra onions.
After each thing written down to the salt and pepper on the meat she finally gets it in correctly.
We finally get our orders. We do have conditions where we need to eat or it can not be so great. 30 minutes waiting in line for all that.
I am not expecting my food the second I walk in the door by any means, but it should not take 30 minutes for that
This was on Monday, May 13th...
