I love cupbop, sometimes they don’t put enough sauce on it though so I always ask for extra
EDIT: The last 5 times I went to this cupbop, I always ask for extra sauce and they never do. I hate to be that person to keep going back and ask for more, and it's frustrating to buy an expensive bowl that is always dry. It's not worth it to me anymore to keep going back.
LAST EDIT: I stopped going here for a while because they always mess up my order, but my pregnant cravings got the best of me this time. We were very specific about what I wanted…just extra sauce. We made sure to let the cashier know that the request was very specific, and it couldn’t be too spicy. I got a level 5. We didn’t watch them make it (first mistake) and I’m pretty sure the person who made it thought the request was so crazy that they wanted to mess it up in every way to make sure we never come back again. They put the tiniest drizzle (like 1tsp) of spicy Mayo and nothing else. Usually they put the brown (sweet?) sauce but there was nothing. It was so dry, and SO SPICY. It tasted like a level 9, and the few bites I had before throwing it away made me sick and gave me heartburn for the rest of the night. Safe to say this ruined it for me for good, which is really sad because I used to LOVE cupbop and eat it religiously but this location just isn’t it. Read moreI am very shocked about the level of customer service this restaurant offers INCLUDING the management. We were very excited to try their food and ordered a fairly large group order. After picking it up and driving back, we realized that half of our order was missing. So we drove all the way back to pick it up and then after arriving back to unpack it it was still missing items and was not made correctly. Due to the nature of my job, it is very difficult to be able to just drive back and forth across town. We decided to try and call to resolve the issue. After calling multiple times we finally got an employee to answer who told us no management was working at the time. After explaining the situation we were given to the assistant manager who argued about the situation and refused to refund us for the missing items. We were able to make an agreement of getting the food delivered to us which was brought by the GM. I am confused about how no management was on shift but within a few minutes there was an assistant and general manager working. They tried telling us that it was not their issue but our issue for not grabbing both bags. While walking in and looking at the pickup rack...I was greeted by an employee who asked if I needed assistance. I advised of my order and she handed me the bag without saying anything about an additional bag. So I do not understand how that would not be their issue. I ordered a veggie bop, and paid for there to be extra extra veggies on top (cause they’re so good!) I barely got one serving of the vegetables though (there were maybe three pieces of zucchini and not even a whole piece of broccoli)😅 plus they had drenched the top in the sauce, possibly hoping I wouldn’t notice the lack of veggies? So it was mostly a bowl of very saucy noodles and rice, barely any cabbage (maybe a tablespoon), it still had GREAT flavor but not exactly what I was expecting or paid for. I spent over $20 for the bowl and 3 kko-kko sticks.
The kko-kko chicken sticks, at first I thought to be very tender, but 2 of the three were a bit chewier, possibly slightly undercooked. I was hungry so I ate them up though, 1 of the three was perfect👍 and as always, very good flavor!
I also had ordered to-go while sitting parked in front of their store (cause I have a baby and didn’t want to move them to and from the car seat) and the order took them a little over 30min😬
In hindsight I should’ve just walked in and ordered at the counter, then they could have told me they were low on veggies and it probably would have been faster. It wasn’t busy at all when I walked in, but I did order later in the evening than I’ve ever been to a Cupbop before (around 6pm) so maybe I had just got my food after a veggie-bop bowl rush/dinner rush in general.
